    I use the easylift with pole trimmer and saw, but it needs to be in the right situation, otherwise it does your head in. Saves strain on your back when doing long runs on high trims/cutting.

    The last I heard they were not accepting new repairs in until they clear the backlog.

    Yes repair is possible, its just finding someone to do it. We sent a pair of boots to LSR for resole in May, still waiting for them to be returned, we were told it would be a whilst though.

    Its normally just a cap to hide the exhaust bolts, they just flick out.
