  12. Never done them, even when I used to winter climbing. Just climb body condition comes with it and I am 60 as well. Use modern techniques as it makes your life easier, even as you say they make you feel less secure/ at ease. spiderjacks/zigzags/akimbo/rope wrench/ rope runners etc use them your body will thankyou.

    Tip sites

    Used one site, dropped off about 12t of conni chip, excellent, but according to owner I am only one that's been in touch. Worked for me, saved dragging it back 40 miles each way.
  15. Just done the 2020/21 tax returns, hurts to pay tax and NI on the money we were given, but knew it was coming. Better to have had it and to have pay some of it back, than not have it at all....
