  1. Sounds fair enough. After 22 years of building up my a business my brains is too corroded to even consider working out how to recover most of the companies information (if it wasn't for IT back-up )- I'd probably need a month or two in a padded room.
  2. I hope you have a good remote back-up system for you iphone:scared1: One of our biggest problems would be losing all our info from the system so we back-up between two machines, remotely and onto external drives
  3. We had the same engine put onto one of our old Howard Gems - brand new Kohler Magnum and it back fires everytime you drop the throttle back quickly. I wasn't that concerned, just need to go easy when we throttle off
  4. Don,t worry we,ll keep you right Were you up doing some training Les?
  5. As an employer, I'd have to be very very careful before deducting monies from a pay packet which is deemed in law to be protected earnings. Especially deducting a fee for training which as an employer I had potentially gained a commercial advantage from you having within that two year period and which may have been legally required for you to have had to work for me.
  6. I think in normal practice it's almost always un-enforceable.
  7. They probably didn,t understand your accent -or more likely you didn,t understand ours:lol:
  8. Definitely M Large for sales, support and parts. They are the main importer and disturbutor for the whole of the uk and Ireland and have been for the last 11 years. They,ll get you sorted quick smart:thumbup1:
  9. Congratulations. Always a relief when they give the thumbs up:thumbup1:
  10. Excellent detail and finish. Just trying to get a scale on it - is it about 2m high? I admire anyone who can create this type of beauty from a chunk of timber:thumbup1:
  11. Absolutely fantastic looking place. The setting, the machinery and the product. Hope you didn't infect it with any of your spores:001_tt2:
  12. What type of risk are you trying to cover. Is it 3rd party cover for use on the road or pl and el cover for site work. Or is it theft cover?
  13. Excellent bit of filming. Great to get the publicity for the event and the industry
  14. Just translated it into Simplified Chinese - there seems to be a word for everything except "Arbtalk" Oh and strangely "Bullman" doesn't translate either -I can see this is going to keep me amused for hours
  15. Was down at Mount Stewart yesterday and this monsters been blown over. Nice bit of decay through the center and I see his partner about 20m to the right has the same Gano on it's main stem low down. Also noticed this nice big Eucalyptus with what looks like a main stem starting to snap under wind stress?
  16. I,ve never been asked for proof of training or competence to hire out a mewp and we,ve had some big ones out in the past. PL insurance is at your risk as with most standard British hire association terms and conditions unless they offer additional insurance. Also a major thing to consider is hired in plant insurance - you need to have the machine insured against fire theft and damage.....and if you cause an accident with it and tip it into a building etc etc. Considering the cost of a 30m mewp at around £90k plus or a crane at say £250k it,s worth factoring in. Always read the small print on the hire docket incase it hits the fan!
  17. Excellent piece of work. I,ll print this one out for future reference. Many thanks:thumbup:
  18. no quite but it's heading that way - Driver CPC And I thought that re-covering existing qualifications is exactly what the hse were suggesting
  19. Classic example of some impromptu off roading:lol: Nothing bent - very lucky. Don,t forget the sign writing, this truck is crying out for it.
  20. It's got to have been worth a punt:thumbup:
  21. Nice bit of felling. Think you,ve spelt "special" wrong in the credits. - not that that has anything to do with the video content:thumbup:
  22. I,still confused as to what type of cover you are looking for. what is the insurance to cover?
  23. is it third party insurance you need to cover the vehicle while it's on the road or theft/fire/accident damage type insurance?
  24. I think it maybe even more expensive. I,m not sure that price includes the battery:scared1:
  25. After you've whacked it all down to ground level, I'd be gathering up all the debris and trash before I cultivate the soil. The amount of cultivation may well depend on the final use of the ground. If its just a bit of basic lawn then a rotavate, grade and rake over should be fine. If they are planning shrub borders and planting etc depending on the ground it may need a bit more effort with the cultivation.
