  1. Not sure if there's any specific lengths but I seem to remember it usually sells by weight.

No picture but I was topping once up at Flash in Staffordshire, first run round the headland trying to find the ditch in the rushes sank a 2wd David brown 1390 so fat I walked straight out the cab onto the field without using the steps, guy who came to pull me out said pick the topper up I told him it was full raised but was flat on the deck!
  3. Very true, I've not got all of them yet keep getting bought a few for birthday and Christmas, just finished "Moving Pictures" and starting "Soul Music"
  4. Good for a bit of escapism from the real world, got quite a few old books on countryside etc but thier safely out the way of the dogs.
  5. Bottom shelf on the left are my Terry Pratchetts built the shelves in last year as I had to take the log burner out to refit it as the people who supplied it hadn't connected it properly so enlarged the opening at the same time to make it more efficient.
  6. Yep still only lighting it on an evening at the minute, just had to leave it to drop the Mrs off for her night shift, back in the warm now
  7. I call a brash dragged a groundsman, or sometimes sweetheart if thier looking miserable, usually raises a smile, what I call a climber depends on how they behave towards me when I have 20 plus years experience on them and thier treating me like I know nowt
  8. +1 for these had one on my galaxy s4 and never had any trouble with it, got an Otterbox on my new s5 seems OK so far

  10. I've got a nilfisk not sure what model but it's a very good washer and the reel means no wrestling to wrap up the pipe when your done with it.
  11. Wife and I are wearing ours permanently now, got them done last month, my gran passed last year she was the last of that generation in my family, my grandfather's and grand uncles all served in ww2 and great grandfather's and great uncles served in ww2, lest we forget.
  12. Polish sopocka with spinach, rocket and watercress, or a tin of mackerel with some slices of bread and butter.
  13. Branches on the right were over hanging the gable end of the garage, branches on the left were over hanging the porch of the house which is just out of shot to the left and was back leaning to fence, once got it clear of both buildings knocked most of it down with the pole saw.
  14. Went and did this maple on Sunday took the other half along as groundie and just squeezed all the brash on the trailer in one go all done and tidied in about 2 and half hrs not bad going I thought.
  15. With regards to your braking system could you attach your retrieval rope to the sling/pulley and capstan it off around suitable tree at the top of the bank this would give you a controlled descent and avoid needing to build in a braking system at bottom end.

  18. Blackthorn, ended up with patio doors open the other year when there was snow on the ground as the log burner was kicking out so much heat

I'm not one for doctors either, I reckon I avoided them for best part of twenty years, I got sent to clinical neurophysiology department when I went hospital the other day for nerve conductivity tests as well as the usual manual tests for carpal tunnel, which is how I know about the nerve damage,could see it trust watching my hands reaction when zapped.
  22. I was bud haha, yep remember the song and always used to watch the young ones, I was getting mixed up with the film "A fish called wanda" but I remember now he swallows it not puts it down his pants
