  8. I have a kawasaki aswell bullit proof but getting a bit thin on the ground now,the stihl is not as adjustable as the kawasaki,and very thirsty as well,have a look at echos range and also tanaka,all realy good kit.
  9. 1100 seems a bit steep how many ton you talkin,16 ton in cornwall about 600 quid,i think your idea needs more thought,or stick to plumbing,more profit than firewood.

  13. Go for a 150 ,should get a beut for 5 grand i charge 200 notes a day for opperator truck and chipper.
  14. Sounds like arbrex the stuff you used to paint onto pruning cuts,id get the word tree in a couple of times meself.
  15. Ive got one with a carving bar its done next to no work,and its a bit on the poor side nothing like an ms200 a bit under powered and you have to use tanaka chain its an odd pitch apparently and not very cheap,all in all a bit dissapointing,but very light.
  16. I was talking to a firm who supply the mentioned chains to someone who cuts railway sleepers,he can cut 8-10 of them before they need sharpening,on standard chain he could only manage a couple,the ones he used were made by oregon,he rated them alot.
  17. i was strimming footpaths last week and hit a nest of some sort got stung 6-8times on my hands ended up in casualty.the wasps in question were smaller than normal and way more agressive,ive still got to finish off the path and was wondering does smoke work on wasps like it does on other bees.
  18. Thats good to know as from now on the log pile will on a hill in an exposed yard with good hard standing and see breezes.
  19. A pole shelter just get some poles give em a blow torch each and an axe job done.
