  2. hi im looking to buy a log splitter to work off the back of a david brown 780,if anyones got one they want to sell, or got some good advice,ie,makes models and ball park prices i would be very grateful cheers brian.

  4. i bought a gravely 628 off ebay 2 years ago paid 1500 for it and shes been a beut used her today chipps like a gooden you dont have to pay through the nose all the time keep tiur eyes open there may be a bargain out there.

  7. i had a mk 1 escort 1600xflow motor twin choke carb thought she was the muts nuts until some old guy passed me driving a fiat uno,i dropped down two gears gave it fark and he pulled away from me likr id stopped,bummer.

  10. i wouldnt complain to much 8 months sounds quite good to me ive gone through two pairs of oregon super comforts in 5 months they changed the first pair and im sure they would change the second,but there that crap i cant be assed i bought a pair of stihls and so far so good.

  15. thanks for the advice,i spend half my time looking over my shoulder for Bob,and listening to H and S from ross turner,but i will get better.
  16. ANDY the manufacturer does have a web site that will shortly have a video on it(woodey products),but andy before i had a chance to defend myself everyone had jumped on the bandwagon,and given their views .

  20. we have air rifles as well and if we miss them to many times we just cut the tree down with them in it and finish them off with a stick (little grey bar stewards).

  24. to tommy b no the one i have is a lot more heavyduty than the one you showed,and the guy who built had long background i tree surgery.
  25. the device in mention was not made by some pratt in a garden shed,it has been made by a professional,someone with serious, engineering skills and welding to match ,take it from me,whoever buys one will not be dissapointed,id rather take my chances with this device,than rapping a rope over a branch and using the trunk as a brake.
