  3. hi just bought a pair of makita protective glasses they cost a tenner from brandon tool hire and they are the dogs,spent a whole morning in a basket swinging from a crane,the other guy was blind by the end but i was clear as a bell good bit of kit ,they come with ear plugs and pouch with a clip so you could fix it to your harness if you wish.

  10. i think the sun may have gotten to bob,bit of a shame when people start showing their true colours,this after all is somewhere to go after work and chat to like minded people,pick up tips but not get to serious,its only a job,ill give bob the benefit though might just be having a bad day,we have em from time to time,on a lighter note whats best for climbing in boxers or a thong,yours not to seriusly brian lol.
  11. i own a gravely 625 i think chipps 6inches good simple chipper,we use a timberwolf 190 where i work that things unstoppable,weve tried greenmech,but there aint no comparison,if you have the money go for one of these you wont be dissapointed.
  12. good advice climbing is best but ocassionally mewps come into their own.
  13. yes my boss uses one he swears by it,very comfortable,ive been looking at the morpho harness does anyone have any feedback on them cheers brian.
  14. we tend to work in bursts harder during the morning,lots of short breaks,plenty of fluids .

  18. cheers shrek glad someone believes me to many llandi bashers out there,who never realy get airborn,dont know how heavy stick is but its 27.5 foot around the base and some of the limbs needed our 880 with the 4 foot bar and that werent big enough dont worry peeps the pictures are coming so prepare to be humbled.
  19. no but we did fill a cabstar to breaking point 15 times and 7.5 tonner to the max not to mention people helping themselves,but you expect that fro one of the biggest montereys in northern europe.

  21. we just finished off the monstrous pine in question we filled a lwb transit 6 times with chip and around 25/30 tons of timber and were still left with a 40 foot stick,left to habitat top that for a weeks work,im looking forward to an early night.
  22. brilliant saw cheap and bullit proof not heavy on a harness either.
  23. petzl are good but use huskey muffs and visor they are better than the petzel option cheers brian.
