  1. yes. sorry steve, my wording did look a bit that way.
  2. yeh the norman tower andy... i know it's been there for 100's of years but i can't help getting annoyed. it sounds like if mr blobby's voice was translated into bell form. its just horrible! bells were used back in the day to call people to the church to prayer. now people have clocks and watches so what is the point?! oh well, they seem to have stopped.
  3. Just got a call from my workmate, he is out for upto 4 weeks after fracturing his collar bone playing football. I think we will need to cover him so need some one with cs30/31 minimum, clean driving licence, experienced enough to work on their own initiative and not told what to do all the time. probably won't be 5 days a week for 4 weeks but plenty of work to be had. Send me a pm if interested Cheers
  4. i live about 20 metres from the tower
  5. sorry to hear that dude, hope you make a full recovery i've always been quite good at checking them every few weeks, but as said by others, might get the gf to take a look
  6. arrrggghh not again! yesterday they played from 9.30 til 2.30 with a 5 minute break at some point. today they started up 9 sharp. i get woken up by them quite regularly if i've been out the night before. surely they can't do this? it's unbearable! it doesn't even sound good! anyone else share my pain??
  7. just had a look at ylour website, james. you haven't corrected the spelling and grammar mistakes that were bought up ages ago!!
  8. Gotta be protector pro's!! mine are still in great condition with loads of tread after 2 & 1/2 yrs and are really comfortable, i've trekked all day in them before with no blisters. bit gutted that they're lasting so long as i'd love some shiney new ones
  9. nice one ian. really want a mill after seeing stuff like this. do you make stuff from them or pass them on to someone else?
  10. just to confuse things, you could even get a tear away bungee strop for if your saw gets stuck in a the curf of a huge lump
  11. 45m main with 3m soft stop/lanyard is what i use 90% of the time Then i have a 6m smaller line if needed and a wire core for chogging down. don't think i'll ever change from this, certainly not the length - i might try out different rope widths.
  12. Try Garnhams - 01379642512 (think thats the number) They are based in Diss.

  16. used firefox for the last 4 years or so, would never go back to ie. the only good thing about crome is that you can close crashed tabs without losing everything else. plus i love my led zeppelin graphics on firefox here - Personas for Firefox | Dress up your web browser
