  1. cheers rupe, that sounds quite handy, feel free to elaborate (if you can be arsed) on the idea.
  2. I climb using a pulley/short vt on my strop, which is great. It never slips, has minimal sit back, i can lengthen it under load and shorten it with one hand. I am intrigued to what a cinch or art positioner could add to this if anything. I love gadgets so wouldn't need much persuasion cheers

  20. This oak decided to uproot itself, falling over a fence, rocking bench thing and shed. All were completely unscathed! (well, a 3" bit of felt tore off the shed roof) - Acro's came in handy! ....and a massive Walnut in Thetford that i've been meaning to document for ages... Featuring my chap-wearing mate for scale. The biggest we have ever seen, one of the biggest in Britain perhaps?? (not a rhetorical question, genuinely interested).

  22. not very 'pc' advise i'd say go by the book for the first 6 months after qualifying. boots/type c trousers/gloves . apart from when it rains of course. bare hands are best!
  23. i love my treemotion. i've had it over a year now and after a bit of discomfot, sorted out the right combo of strap length/ leg loop tightness etc. it's really comfy now
  24. to be expected if someone is wanting to win a good camera to replace they're not so good one
  25. i was thinking that. new all the saws inc the spare 30" bar would be around £1800. not 'well over £2200' as described...
