  3. i think hi vis on the ground is way more important. that way you can clearly see if anyone is in the drop zone, and of course to warn pedestrians/motorists. i wear hi vis up the tree when doing LA work, but mainly because i can't be arsed keep taking it on/off after working on the ground

  8. The first course in a subject taught at a college or university in Australia, Canada, South Africa, or the United States.[1] By extension, "Topic 101" is used generally to indicate the basics of any subject. The expression is also used in this non-academic sense in the UK.[citation needed] Used this way, it is always pronounced "one-oh-one".[2][3]

    Permission???

not to sure on your main query, but our boss says it's ok to start saws at 7:30am - i'm not sure if that's true or just to get us working sooner instead of chatting to the customer/drinking tea
  14. Probably a 60-70ft Ash (well, I've only been climbing for 10 months in a work environment) That was tall and skinny, not much in it. In the same garden I dismantled a 50-60ft Holme Oak which was spreading almost as far as it was tall. That was back in feb, haven't had any medium to large trees to do since then. Looking forward to doing a 100ft+ at some point.

  18. I've been told to work out your costs per year and divide by the number of working days. That will give you a daily rate to cover work costs, then add wages on top. It would be good if it was that simples, but i fear not. A good place to start, though.

General internet security programs (mcafee, kapersky etc) tend to be crap at finding malwares and adware type stuff i have spyware doctor running aswell as mcafee download the free trial here http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/ when installing, make sure you untick the box that says 'always check for updates' (or something like that) once installed, go to settings and untick the update option then click register on the left and put in this License Name: Robert Boetticher License Code: 57BA-A2D0-3871-E9CD-CBB6-E455-6CAC-E285-6BB0-84BB it is important to not update as this will invalidate the licence
