    Iphone 4

i'm not having any problems with my 3gs running ios4. re: the iphone 4 - couldn't bring myself to pay almost £300 for a higher res screen, 2 more mega pixels, higher res video and a light. So, i got the 3gs for free.
  13. nasty, nicked myself on the wrist the other week with a slowing down chain. being stupid of course! one handed on ground -duuuuh won't do that again.
  14. Not a tree, but didn't warrant a thread of it's own - my ebay bargain, 034, £60 ! Very pleased, works perfectly, fired first pull, then ate up a big chunk of rock hard elm
  15. +1 really good idea! shame i sold my rope guide last week i'll buy another one soon and try this out
  16. i'm pretty sure you can't splice used ropes...?
  17. Marlo Gecko is the cheapest rope you can get, not that good tbh - ok for a second rope or a laylandii rope. I would say save up a bit more to get Yale XTC, very good rope and not too expensive compared to others. Spliced eyes are much better as they don't get caught in tight crotches like the bowline knot - the only way round that is to untie/re-tie the knot every time which is a pain in the ass. Also, knot's like the bowline interfere with climbing systems which involve a pulley/friction knot i.e. VT hitchclimber.
  18. before it's closed i want to see a response from matt re: giles hill discrediting his believe in the flood fossil.....
  19. an AAAC has leaflet-dropped around here. seems not just pikeys do it....
  20. chiropractor? or alternative treatments like acupuncture?
  21. the fact (am i allowed to say that?) is, dozens of religions were formed thousands of years before christianity, that shared almost exactly every aspect - the god born to a virgin, killed, ressurected, even the three 'kings' (which are actually stars). whoever made up the bible, did so by copying ancient ideologies, in a bid to control the masses and make them conform. i do not believe in any of the 'gods' that have been made up by homo sapiens over the last 10,000 years. what i do believe in is existence. i'm a firm believer in the 'big bang' as a starting point of this universe as it is, not as the starting point of existence all together, as this would be impossible. the fact that the microscopic bundle of pure energy leading up to the big bang even existed is what blows my minds - in science everything has to start from something. the fact that space, time, energy, life even exists is what baffles/fascinates me. i'm open to the opinion that something spiritual is behind existence, but i won't devote my life to it, preach it, let it control my behavior, or any of the bollocks that goes with with organised religion. life is about enjoying life and not being a see u next tuesday. BE EXCELLENT TO EACH OTHER
  22. few of my friends went, did you see 2 cross dressers with a girl with a red led light in her pants, who was teaching people where to find the clitoris? yep.

  24. mendiplogs - if you want a macbook pro in your price range, you will only get the 13.3" screen
  25. here's the view out of my living room window. love it so much, worth being skint for! (it's bury st edmunds cathedral by the way) i would love a view of big, rolling hills or the sea, but as far as urban views go, this is the one for me!
