  1. wait for the new version of the skylotec to come out !! there are two new versions being released verry soon , one it similar the the current skylotec but it has quick release leg loops and a designated carry device for a first aid kit , and i believe there are several other changes but i cant remember what they are lol ! the second harness is a light weight version of the harness which also looks to be a really really good harness . not sure but maybe justin might have some info that he can post for us all
  2. the last one decided that he was more into working in a shop lol !! dangerous brian is still working with me and all is working out really well . but i fear that he will be an inch or so shorter by the end of the wek dragging lol

  11. why not go the whole hog and come down this way and have a look at my tw190 mate
  12. whay what have you heard about them ??, to be honest every chipper has its bad points, what you have to ask your self is how much chipper do you want for your money ? also which chipper is easyest to get parts for ? the less down time the better
  13. i had Yel.com call me again last week with the same old sales patter trying to get me to sign up but , so i asked them to put all of their figures in wrighting also outlining there promise of an increase of over %20 in work , a week later i have not heard from them since !!!! personally i really can not see any point in advertising with them , i was chatting to a media consultant several weeks ago and he pointed me in the wright direction as far as advertising goes , hence why i will not be bothering with big adverts in phone directories , however i will now concentrait on other forms of advertising such as local papers , also i have worked out that the ammount of money i will save will more than cover buying an advertising trailer lol , has anyone thought of using estate agents boards ??
  14. the questions you really need to be asking the dealer is - how much waranty, what work have they done to the machine etc etc . i would want a decent waranty and an honest appraisal of the chipper that your looking to buy . also if your not sure what your loking at why not take someone along to have a look and demmo the machine before you buy ?
  15. nice work mate , if you go into production let me know , my mother in law was only saying that she needs to find something more enviormentaly friendly to get to work in/on ha ha ha ha ha ha

  17. i may be wrong but i was chatting too Mike at Green Mech and he was saying that they have a tracked mulcher that they hire out , this may or may not be of any help to you . i have been thinking about looking into hiring it to do some utility clearence work

  20. thats one hell of a view in which to sit and watch the telly but im not sre the new sofas i have just bought would quite fit in with the location lol
  21. dont you hate it when your just getting started up in a tree and your groundsman that clearly can not do the job tries to tell you how to do it !!!! or worse still he starts trying to tell the customer what we are doing but actually makes an arse of himself in front of the customer !!!!
  22. i think i would only ever considder using a cut like the dutchman in a woodland or similar situation , i can see that the guy is in full controle but i think tht when it comes to cutting through nearly 3/4 of your hinge it is still a relative gambles as to weather it goes where you wnat it to go or not but never the less im sure it does work really well once you get the hang of cutting it !!
  23. that tree would be one hell of a climb , i would love to get the chance to climb it !!
  24. get in contact with DVLA like Justme said , if you have a good reason IE: you need the address so that you can tack civil action against him then they will forward the registered owners details to you mate . good luck tho and eally hope you get to dump the bags outside his house or maybe you put the bags out with your rubbish and deliver him a nice transit full of branches, saw dust etc etc direct to his house lol .
  25. they are some really interesting cuts that i have never seen before , with a bit of luck at some point i wil get to give the dutchman a go but somewhere that it does not matter if a mess it up lol !!!!
