  1. i tried out the timberwolf version about 3 weeks ago on a job with no access (took it through the house) and found that because it was gravity fed that when you put any privet or leylandi through it dragged it into the chipper so fast that it almost came out the other end whole !!! whats the green mech like
  2. i tend to use a screwgate to attach my saw strop to my harness , simply make sure that you do the screw gate up while its under load and it should not come undone , who uses the plastic Petzel carabs ?? i have one for clipping my saw up short but have found that the platic flexes enough for thr gate to be the wrong side of the gate and my saw has fallen out several times but thankfully no dammage to myself , kit of anyone elts because my saw is still attached to my harness by the screw gate !!!!!
  3. a tend to use my ART friction saver as far down the stem as it will go , but this is why i wish they did a version with a longer sling so that it will fit round bigger stems

  9. if the tree your trying to get accros into is quite dense of hard to access with a throwline of buy throwing your line into whilst in the other tree i would probably set a secondary line in the second tree before i start my climb .

  22. thanks for all of your advice chaps , i will be looking into all of the above tomorrow night after work . it is on an S plate but to be honest its the best thing i have ever bought , for a while it had a ply box on the back for chipping (in which i broke both sets of leaf springs) and for the last 18 months -2 years its been used as a kit carrier for our off road work not to mention towint the timberwolf tw190 through fields oh and sliding down a sloaping field with the chipper last november (that really was nearly the end of the truck and chipper !! oh and me lol ) but all in all i really can fault the truck and i really would be lost without it .
