  1. nice work mate , if you go into production let me know , my mother in law was only saying that she needs to find something more enviormentaly friendly to get to work in/on ha ha ha ha ha ha
  2. or he could spend 8k and have my tw190 lol:thumbup:
  3. i may be wrong but i was chatting too Mike at Green Mech and he was saying that they have a tracked mulcher that they hire out , this may or may not be of any help to you . i have been thinking about looking into hiring it to do some utility clearence work
  4. wish i had known that , i would have neatly placed the old kitchen from my new hose there lol .
  5. you can do something verry similar for tying a bowline , will try to post some pics when i take them tomorrow
  6. thats one hell of a view in which to sit and watch the telly but im not sre the new sofas i have just bought would quite fit in with the location lol
  7. dont you hate it when your just getting started up in a tree and your groundsman that clearly can not do the job tries to tell you how to do it !!!! or worse still he starts trying to tell the customer what we are doing but actually makes an arse of himself in front of the customer !!!!
  8. i think i would only ever considder using a cut like the dutchman in a woodland or similar situation , i can see that the guy is in full controle but i think tht when it comes to cutting through nearly 3/4 of your hinge it is still a relative gambles as to weather it goes where you wnat it to go or not but never the less im sure it does work really well once you get the hang of cutting it !!
  9. that tree would be one hell of a climb , i would love to get the chance to climb it !!
  10. get in contact with DVLA like Justme said , if you have a good reason IE: you need the address so that you can tack civil action against him then they will forward the registered owners details to you mate . good luck tho and eally hope you get to dump the bags outside his house or maybe you put the bags out with your rubbish and deliver him a nice transit full of branches, saw dust etc etc direct to his house lol .
  11. they are some really interesting cuts that i have never seen before , with a bit of luck at some point i wil get to give the dutchman a go but somewhere that it does not matter if a mess it up lol !!!!
  12. i gave the vt another go this week but still im not really getting on with it , i was thinking maybe it is the cord im using which is the yale silver felck (i think thats what its called anyway ) so i was wondering what size prussic cord you guys are using and what makes . cheers guys
  13. i gave the pferd files a go and found them really coarse which aint too good when your only putting the edge back on a saw but they are really useful if someone has deced the saw and you need to take quite a bit of dammaged chain off . has and one seen or used the bar dressing tool ?? i have had one for a few years and really reccomend them
  14. it also does not look too different to the commet butterfly , but still it looks like a good harness
  15. anyone got any pictures of the harness ??
  16. close but not close enough , looks like my local dealer has been charging a bit too much !!! well to be exact it looks like he is charging me the full pice inc vat and then adding a bit more vat on top nive avitar by the way bob
  17. a bleieve the anvil is in two parts and costs roughly £181.00 exc vat - apparently the anvil in the 190 is case hardened and there fore should not need changing for at least 800-1000 hours minimum
  18. check the carb make and its serial number , then call stihl and give them the info , if it is the same carb then they shoud replace it free of charge , the carb that you want is a Warbro carb and not a Zamma. one you get the arb changed that should be the end of your problems mate
  19. the hopper has to come off (two of you should be able to lift it , then you heed to take the bottom fed roler out which is a bit more awkward mate , tell you what if you like give me a call (07790206316) and i will talk you through it . but to be honest my tw190 has done roughly 600 hrs now and the anvil still does not need to be replaced , oh and thats the other thing , the anvil can not be turned !! it has to be replaced (as far as i know) my other thought is how warn are the blades ?? i have found that as my blades get closer to the minimum wear markers that the chip does become a littly stringy . also are you having the blades hollow ground ?? this also can afect the preformance of the chipper and the chip that if produces . any way hope this is of help and should you need any more help just give me a call mate
  20. it its anything like the rancher the be prepared for the oil pump to pack up within a short period of time mate
  21. well said , i found that i had to push at every oppertunity , it may put some noses out of joint but hey thats life mate
  22. true , and this was a hire machine lol
  23. ithing the 125 with feed rolers is a great machine for what it is mate , but the smaller push round a grden jobby is a pile of rubbish mate
  24. hmmm , i had a look into the tw chiper and its simply a smaller version of the 125 with a tiny flie wheel and one blade it really was crap , it was that bad that in the end we gve up and milled it all down with a saw
  25. hmmmm the timberwolf was really poor , it was harder to see what it had broken down rather than what it had not , i tried to excuse it because we were chipping privet but it sholu be able to handle that surely
