  1. Phil, were u wearing a bo selecta mask in that picture??
  2. metal pipe going to the middle of the fire with a leaf blower on the other end works well for getting it roaring. we recently burnt acres of shoreline willow using that method in all weathers and couldnt fault it.
  3. have you tried lamberhurst engineering?
  4. so are you looking for hornbeam blanks to lathe turn?? where in southern england are you?
  5. I swear i have seen your chipper advertised on kent gumtree over the last few months, actually noticed the motorbike stickers when i saw it which stuck in my mind. See if your able to see old adverts??

Plenty of wineries in the adelaide hills if ya like a drink and if your into motorsports there is the V8 street racing held in the city and an excellent motocross track just outside mclaren vale.

  14. wouldnt worry too much i went through 3 power cables with the big auger on the skidsteer on tuesday afternoon! cut the power to the electric gates so i couldnt get off site...........all this after i was assured there was no cables in that area at all

  16. tell ya what, little gloria would be buggered if those tailgate ram seals went!!!
  17. think your gonna need a bigger chipper.
  18. this was in pirbright?, about 600mm of sandy loamy topsoil ontop of belts of sand stone. With an 18inch auger it didnt have enough grunt to spin the fractured bits of stone up the flights and out the hole, they would just jam it against the side so you had to constantly adjust it up and down to clear the hole. Could of been a duff machine but it was brand new so who knows. they are handy with the pallet forks etc for bumping out materials along the fence line and do save your back especially if you do lots of concrete fencing.
  19. they aint too bad but the borer isnt as amazing as you think, fast in the right kind of ground but it doesnt take alot to stop them if you get into tougher conditions. had one on a job in sussex and all the belts of sandstone in the ground meant at times it was quicker to dig with a graft.
  20. ashman your splitter looks identical to my set up i have mounted on a multileg subsoiler frame, even the ram is the same.
  21. havent had the steering wheel off in the past have you?? could of been put on a few splines out then had the tracking adjusted whilst its out and caused more of a problem?
  22. 1000 litres last week at 62p per litre from southern counties fuels.
