  1. Hi there Really sorry I didn't reply earlier, not sure what happened there! Is block still in your barn? I'll ask Andy, but am pretty sure when I spoke to him before he said that A60 would be fine. I guess only issue then is pistons (assuming head is not knackered also), Holder factory tracked down a block but pistons were a problem.. I don't know whether mine has been bored, has yours do you know? If still available, any feeling for how much you'd want for it? I'm trying to get someone to strip the beastie down to discover exactly what is what. it has been suggested that I may be able to get it welded, but great to hear that you may be able to give me another option... Prob best to reply to me on email [email protected] Thanks again! Paul
  2. Hi Garth, thanks for replying. Yes, they are just up the road from me, and it was one of their guys that came out yesterday and gave me the diagnosis...
  3. Hi Mike, and thanks for the reply. Engine is Holder's own unfortunately. But yes, am madly trawling google... Cheers Paul
  4. Hi all. Saw a thread about this from a while back and so joined up in the hope someone may have some ideas... I have a Holder A50 with a cracked block (schoolboy error, last winter + no antifreeze = expensive mistake) so am looking for a replacement engine for it. I understand that engines from A60, A65 and possibly C30 will fit. Hope you guys don't mind me on your patch and hope someone out there can help (or know a man who knows a man, you get it...) Cheers Paul
