  2. Can I still buy tickets tomorrow or does it close today?
  3. Can i buy tickets via my I phone? Tried earlier from my pc and couldnt access the site.
  4. It's the fact that the council accounts don't stand by their method of deductions over a grand. Sometimes they deduct CIS on invoices of less than 100 quid, sometimes they don't deduct on a 12 grand invoice so it makes no sense!
  5. It wouldn't be so bad if they stuck to their original statement of deducting CIS on any invoice of over a grand. Sometimes they deduct on invoices below that amount then other times they don't deduct on large amounts at all. I just want to check what I have paid for my records
  6. Hi, does anyone know if there is a way to check the amount of CIS deductions you have paid? I get the sub contractor statements from main contractors which i can work out easily but our local council doesnt make consistent CIS deductions when paying invoices which is doing my nut in when trying to do my accounts? Is there an online check or number you can ring? cheers
  7. So what time you meeting mick? Might head up if you got space for one more??
  8. oz is great, id happily go back there to live after spending nearly 2 years out there working in forestry and land reclamation. take plenty of sun cream as others have said, go out and enjoy yourself and get off the beaten track some amazing places outside the hustle and bustle of urban areas. Oh and dont give the police any stick as they dont mess about!!
  9. so what are the symptoms for this then? noise from chainbrake / clutch area?
  10. leccy fence to keep the horses back and a roll in the hay to keep her happy
  11. Sip acknowledge there is a problem and sell a retro fit kit to brace the roller mounts which is just a piece of pressed plate but still want plenty of cash for it. Tried it with new liner in the torch and the new rollers on the feed but it didn't make much difference. Euro torch fitting would be a big improvement
  12. I have got the same welder and they aren't up to much when you have the amps cranked up. Wire feeds inconsistently so a neat weld is difficult, common problem as listed on the loads of welding forums is that the feed roller mount flexes and won't feed the wire
  13. Ha ha ha plippy's Christmas do was bloody funny. The band had enough sound equipment to blow the roof off wembly stadium so you can guess it was ridiculously loud in a small Kentish pub! Bolam breakdancing to death metal was a classic!
  14. those pallet dropsides are spot on! nice truck whatever it is!!
  15. Im just in process of putting a 170hp mog engine in my u1000 as I want a bit more grunt on hills etc but even with the non turbo engine it still pulls my heavy ass crane trailer with a weighed 6 ton of posts at 45mph
  16. funny, looks to me to be the front of that greenmech chipper he is selling
  17. I have had not but problems with maxmiler tyres either distorting or blowing, spoke to local ifor dealer who says they have a problem with the belting in the tyre coming apart. They are now swapping tyres on all new trailers to a 195 wide cargomax tyres and since then they have had no returns. I swapped the tyres on my lm166 to this new tyre and I don't have any issues anymore
  18. If you made the hitch quite long ie an old ford tractor clevis hitch and had a zero tail swing machine it wouldn't be too bad. I know what you mean about the drawbar height as have only done it on larger machines.
  19. Why not weld a hitch to the under carriage directly to spread the weight rather than hang it off the blade? Granted you won't be able to turn as tight but it will stop the digger sitting on its toes with alot of nose weight
  20. could you weld a vertical splitter onto a bobcat backplate. strengthen the table so that you could scrape it along the floor to pick up the ring then operate the third service to split the log? if you had additional services piped up you could use either an accumulator arm set up or a stroke processor / harvester feed wheel to turn the log on the table??
  21. how many hydraulic services has your skidsteer got piped up??
  22. Is this the case with other species of trees? i have just looked at a eucalyptus appox 30inch diameter 45ft tall and approx 7 feet from the house. No current evidence of substancial structural damage apart from drains and pathway but needs to be removed due to future building work. Ground conditions are loamy soil ontop of underlying clay. Would removing the tree in stages have any less effect on shrinkage of clay around the footings or could it be done in 1 hit without any ill effects?
  23. give the flat face of the bolt a good tap first to shock it, knock in a larger torx head and wind it out. or other have said weld a nut onto the top and wind it off
  24. didnt realise libraries had "those" kinds of books..............best get me a library card
