  1. If its the same as the bigger TM series new hollands i think the fault is something to do with the linkage controls or linkage itself.
  2. axle weight would kill it. crane and chipper up front is gonna put it over the limit.
  3. the small ones like that aren't that great, i had the same model on hire for moving fencing materials around on site and augering holes and found it to be gutless in terms of powering an attachment (8inch auger) and when carrying its load capacity its really unstable especially with an elevated load. the larger models from kanga are much better tho
  4. What facilities has he to load the posts at his yard? It not on my doorstep but will be travelling that way to deliver a tractor and will be returning with an empty trailer later this week. If he has a forklift he could load my trailer then I could secure them properly on pallets and your courier could collect them from my yard
  5. Horizontal splitter built on a subsoiler chassis with ram from a 13 ton 360 digger. 32 inch capacity. 2 way and 4 way split. Really heavily built as it takes crane feeding 2 and a half ft thick rings all day every day. I think the weight might be an issue tho as it makes the front end light on a 40 hp conventional tractor
  6. I have a splitter that runs off tractor hydraulics I would sell ifyour interested. Might be a bit big for your tractor to carry round if you have to transport it.
  7. What transport does your courier use? Rigid lorry with tail lift?
  8. what was your budget on posts as it sounds like it would of been easier to use a larger supplier like jacksons, torry hill etc who charge a bit more but supply nationally. who is supplying the posts?
  9. See if the ball has worn off the end of the shift lever as if it's worn it won't Push the selector to the correct position. I have had it happen to a few old fords on our farm
  10. Wouldn't bother with an avant or asv skidsteer if the ground is really snotty as you will be calling for a digger to pull you out as once they bottom out you are done for. Also if it's really wet you will push the timber into the ground as you pass over it and still need a 360 and rake on site to flick it out and make another pass to mulch it properly.
  11. Is it column shift or sticks on top of the transmission??
  12. I stayed in that same hostel for 2 months when I was out there,I remember drunkenly trying to surf a mattress down the stairs into reception on more than 1 occasion. Melbourne is a good laugh, some few nice places to visit. And if your into motorsport they hold the f1 on the Albert park street circuit and Phillip island circuit isn't too much of a drive out the city if you want to catch some excellent bike racing.
  13. I always ran 50:1 on all my race bikes, 20ml of oil per litre of fuel.
  14. easy way to tell is has it still got its lift arms, hitch etc as they are usually taken off to mount winches and crane pumps etc
  15. Farm I was fencing on last week had a log splitter running off a 550hp quadtrac with the flow valves choked down as all their little 125-310 hp conventional tractors were busy elsewhere!
  16. i have seen a set of kuhmo kl71's (same as whats on my shogun) fitted on twin rear wheel transits the same as yours locally mate.
  17. Bloody sweltering here, new iPhone got so hot it came up with a temperature warning message and wouldn't work!
  18. even some of the big fencing suppliers own brands are the same, you can put 200hp thru the netting clamp or fencing trailer and some of the line wires are tight as a piano wire and others are slack! sub £5 a meter really wants to be for straight runs without excessive changes of direction or undulation as it doesnt take too many strainers and struts to knock the arse out of £4 a meter especially if you have a small post driver. Another fencing team locally was using a small parmiter with 90kg weight and they said it was taking over 40 hits to drive a 6ft half round into depth, with current ground conditions my kinghitter with 350kg weight was taking 3mins to drive 6" full rounds into depth
  19. With the cost of decent tantalised softwood timber at the moment I'm surprised you wanna supply and fit for 4.50 a meter as if the ground is hard going under hedges and trees you won't get the meters up per day to cover costs. HT stock net is essentially over a pound per meter for good quality stuff that won't look look crap in 6 months time so whack your price up a bit
  20. throw it in the middle of the rows and run it over with a pulveriser / mulcher on the tractor, save on buying fert and less handling.
  21. we have probably 1200 chooks and trust me they arent fussy about what chip goes in there. we put a foot layer in at a time and even coarse hardwood chip rots down within 6 months.
  22. why cant you use conny chip in the pens?
  23. just convince daddy to install one of these on the farm and then you can leave your shovel in the shed... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pnsaR2B9Dag&feature=related]YouTube - ‪Unloading a semi under 5 min‬‏[/ame]
  24. to fit it you must first remove the giggle pins securing the laughter shaft and then bolt it to the flux capacitor
