  1. Despite that the 560 is still a lot quicker and the 357 does not and can not deliver optimum cutting speed as it does not have auto tune, I have owned both and whilst the 357 was a great saw who ever was in the stand with the 560 would be atleast a row ahead after a few hours ... Martin has another vid where 3 357's two modded go up against my 560 and none are quicker. I'm not saying that a modded one is not quicker but it had to have some serious mods not just an exhaust and port job. Steve I will give you mikes number if you want a 560 to play against. 2. Can't see much if any between the two mate seriously if the 560 was dropped back to 325 and and 18 it would be identical I would of thought? I used a brand new 560 the other day on that set up and it was a lot faster than my tired old one. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  5. I would go ms 460 or 461 nice and light and plenty of power. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  6. I've never seen a ported 357 beat a 560 ??? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  7. Personally I would give it to spud... I have destroyed the second saw I tryed to split it and caused a lot more damage ! The first one I did I had to take back for him to refit a bearing after I messed it up. I pretty sure he has some 357 crank cases hanging around as well as he always had the parts to keep mine going and he's a hell of a lot more reasonable and thorough than any saw shop I have used. 8. Totally agree ... previously a year to the day that I got turned over I was being followed by are travelling friends so I did a detour and hid behind a suger beat clamp and waved and took photos when they came back searching to follow us again... I reported this to the village bobby and he said he knew them and would tell them to leave it out. This year again I clocked them following us ,reported it in and got a crime number... Difference is village bobby retired in December... Two days later the yard was emptied.. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  9. Steve If I have a quoted post alert come up it also tells me I have a pm alert at the same time although I have already read that pm?? And when I actually get a pm it's not coming up. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  12. No offence Kevin but I'm inclined to agree with mark there... With out completely tearing it to shreds I can see 3 very wrong things in that picture that for the sake of 15 seconds would of put you well out of risk. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  13. That about sums it up Adam.. You were paying me 150 a day 8 years ago, I would not do subby work for less now ... No way. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  15. I'm running stihl hp super and it's measured with the stihl sqeezzy bottles . ms150 did it badly until I drilled a larger exhaust hole ,then loads of liquid started coming out!! Guess the exhaust was so restrictive it can not escape and the gas turns to liquid before it has a chance to exit, the spark arrestor would cause the same.... I could be talking bollocks though but I never noticed it on my t540 that I did take the spark arrestor out of straight away. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  16. Take out the spark arrestor.... But all saws do that it's worse though when the exhaust flow can't escape like on yours because the arrestor is still in. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  17. Sorry to hear that.. What part of the country are you in ? Really right now I have had enough of the uk it's got beyond a joke, even if the police had there hands untied I don't think it would stop the volume of thefts in are gear ,they won't go near certain elements of are society. 19. How bigs big?? The rope in that vid looked like it would give up before a big dan and half hitch combo would. If ever I have snapped a lowering rope it's been on the first half hitch that its failed, IMO you can go pretty large before reverting back to say a timber hitch. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  20. I rig a lot with a big dan steel krabs with a half hitch in front if shock loading a piece , how tom described with slings works great as well but tbh I would not want a screw gate in there as it's a fiddle doing it up. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  21. I don't know any body who would make a claim for one saw or a climbing kit ... It's not worth the excess or premiums going up the next year. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
