  1. I only have to buy one reel of chain to do all the ground saws ... That's the only reason really... And its on a 15" bar so makes no difference I think tbh. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  2. The last run they made of them they upped the cc and made a few changes on the weak spots of the saw but from its start as the 335 it was regarded as a bit of a disaster that husky never really got over, hence why the had to get the t540 spot on , I didn't mind it as a saw but still picked up the 200t over it. The later model is on the left so will be worth more. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  3. Clarkes ,Justin's or rob d will have a bar. Mine runs 3/8 and never had a problem finding a bar. They get better old mill once ran in. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  4. From my experience looking at saws that have had problems it's when normal chain oil is mixed with bio or cooking oil substitutes it congeals in to a mess that causes problems. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  5. No never cleaned a saw for that reason or emptied it for storage, I picked up a 200t that hasn't been used for 8 months and it oiled fine.. Been using clarkes but also stihl or any thing else I could get my hands on really. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  6. Been running bio oil for 5 years with no problems ... Some times my 395 will sit for weeks without use and it's never had problems oiling. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  10. Had a 560 for a couple of years john, 15" 3/8, my favourite saw. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  11. If the 555 is lacking rev boost I would not tempted at all ,having spent 2 days snedding and cross cutting with a 357 I would gladly buy another 560 and can't wait to get mine sorted ! After two years using one you forget just how good the rev boost is ! I never saw the point in 50 cc saws though I had a 346 and used 260's and would kill them working !! rather swing a 60cc saw all day and have the extra power and not have to push it to its limits all the time.. I'm also regret buying a 372 miss the extra grunt saws like the ms460 offer for a little bit more weight. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  15. As beautiful as the rays are It's not a very stable timber or has the strength of normal oak which would be why it's not regarded as a sought after timber to mill... If ever I have offered it to a friend to mill for free he's turned me down. Seth you have a real issue with timber being logged don't you , can I just add if you turners turned up and actually gave us something in return for it we would save more! Personally I save as much decent timber as possible but it gets bloody annoying having some one snoop around asking questions and taking your time for half hour thinking he's doing you a favour, Slack bladder on here was great to deal with and can come back any time but the last two people who asked me I ignored or said no as before they just came along criticising how I store my wood, taking my time then taking timber whilst still complaint about how much we waste whilst offering you nothing for it is just offensive... No Wonder people just think sod it and log it.. Sorry just had to get that off my chest:) Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
