  1. Sorry to hear this had happened to you again Geoff , these scum need burying.
  2. Ash are very late, maybe they are confused after a succession of very cold dormancy's and then a mild one?? ... They have all looked like canker ridden half dead derelicts for as long as I can remember it has not happened over night !! , I am not worried yet. The only real infected ones I have personally seen have been very young trees. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  3. So they don't come with one?? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  4. I've used a static rigging line with a rigging plate and pulley to run the timber with a rigging pulley set below it with a lowering device for the second rope to retrieve and control speed , works a treat!! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  5. Sorry to hear that happened again tony.... Your spot on with the rest mate. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  10. Went on a hike to loch skeen a few weeks back... Getting properly back in to trout fishing again and loving it. These two fish came out a small burn and I'm wondering if the bottom one is a salmon? Only took it as it was bleeding the other was put back but shows the difference. 11. Air injection is the way forward! I believe stihl now use some thing like it on new saws but the 66 is an old design. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  12. The round gaffs make them sound like the honeys own brand sold in the 80's ... Even a cheap set of kliens would do you better! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  13. A great all rounder ! If I had to choose one that would be it.....sugoi and tsurgi come in second and third followed by the zubat on my list. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  14. Throw cube is essential ,I like the dyna glide as it's more supple and does not resemble wire cored string like other lines. I would take on a 14oz and 16oz bags on each end as well so you can re route the line easily through rough bark with no messing and frustration of none returning bags. Get ready to grab the line as soon as you have fired or it will end up through the top of the tree and 3 gardens down!! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  15. What do you want for it Carl?? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  16. Tihose socks really sap power from the saws from my experience with them. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  17. That about sums it up ! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  18. Ha ha awsome hedge !! Looks like you have been having a great time Paul.
  19. Some quality work there james, really like your reductions .
  20. Can't find an old style clip to retro fit either...
  21. I had the trapeze clip it self on to the cocoon pulley of an ART rope guide preventing retrieval the other week, Complete freak!! But would not of happened with the old style rope guide.
  22. Are you sure they are not just keys?
  23. 8 mm roblon approx 50cm between the fishermans knots on 13mm rope with a combo of 3 wraps and 4 braids self tended and gripped perfect. Lock jack and spider jacks maybe your thing though. I owned both and got rid of them pretty quick, both have a really annoying habit of pulling slack through when your trying to do reductions just at a point you don't need it! The zig zag was definitely a better tool.
