  1. My dog loves the stuff as well, quite handy for spills on clients patios.
  2. That's a shame ,I have made a lot of deals ,trades swaps and been given and given away things on this forum with only good experiences but I personally would rather know who to avoid but obviously due to legal reasons naming and shaming is not allowed but its a shame there ip address can not be banned though, I don't like to be surrounded by untrust worthy people and probably why I find myself posting less these days.
  3. If your only running 12mm double braid it will be fine, personally I would start at 14mm for rigging lines unless your intending to use it for only light rigging. Slack issues would only become a problem with big lumps that 12mm would be killed on IMO so the 2001 is not a bad choice ,You can still get a lot of slack out the system once your familiar with it and I found 2001 more superior than ports wrap style devices for lowering with ease of use ability to hold and run wood. I use a 3001 and and its a heavy bit of kit, comes in to its own with big rigging though and a porter wrap for light stuff.
  4. This one??
  5. Or Rambo 3 on the mega drive.
  6. Cod World at war for me.

Really enjoyed that showed some stunning locations on monster trees, good work and great tune!what do you recon to the rigging rings reg ?
  9. New 201 is supposed to be a different machine ... Are one is pretty rubbish in comparison to a 540 it is gutless but I hear the new version 201 has uprated carb fly wheel and ignition making it a different saw. 200t had its problems that never got solved .... People forget that reminiscing what a great tool they where when available off the shelf.
  10. Or there's the dolmar !! I would seriously consider one of these as well.
  11. I would skip the 441 and go straight to the 461 unless your on a budget, then Its the husky 365. Have nothing bad about the 441 to say although it does not have great rep from some users and some say it's bulky but if you like the ergonomics then it could be the saw for you I'm using the legendary 460's as go to 70cc saws and I hate them !!! the vibes are terrible ,seriously the worse on any saw I have used which is a shame as its a strong reliable saw and I'm told the 461 compliments its older brothers traits as a top saw and straightens out this weak point so it's worth considering for sure. I personally would get a 576xp but if the stihls feeling good in your hands it's the choice for you.
  12. I think it proves Steves got porting 357's down 👍. Cheers for that tom.
  13. What about if the seller says he accepts pay pal then you can't make a payment ... Then he demands a check and doubles the quoted postage ??
  14. I have had a lot come and go and some times with a change they excel, have worked with a few years later after they left or could not take my grumpy mood swings any more and I'm always impressed how they progressed. I wondered why they did not work like that with me and I came to the conclusion getting wound up and yelling at them what to do next all the time just made them think less for them selfs. One thing for sure starting from scratch again is a pita !!
  15. Slept on that .... And no!!
  16. Makes an interesting read, that guy knows his stuff👍 Not as interesting as marks mods though😄
  17. Ocean polyester ??? Never liked the stuff for its inconsistency with a VT unless it's tied very short, I liked liros and roblon but they burn out quick. Never looked back since AP.
  18. Sounds a plan tom.
  19. This is probably not your saw then ?? 😄 only comparison of the two I could find on the net and the out come looks as I expected .
  20. Ahh but the dogs are the best bit... always have been!, as a kid I used to rob the dogs of my dads junked dolmars to make in to knuckle dusters... Like you do.
  21. Having seen some Rob D polished up I thought it looked stunning '
  22. That is a big top for a crane ! Nicely done.
  23. Can I put this in your mincer... Pointing to a pile of roots ,brambles, dead weeds and bricks. I used to do a bit of tree work. Can I have the logs ? Then tapping you on the shoulder continuously whilst your chipping up with a pair of loppers trying to cut every thing off down to 1cm twigs because you only cut the down the brash to 3" logs..., actually none of mine are funny just tragic.
  24. Exactly Tom with any saw comparison I want to see it with a bar and chain swap other wise it's bull really plus there's a few other factors as a regular user may push the saw where he knows the power band is peak and some one who's not familiar with it wont.... That was the only video I am aware of with a ported 560 vs 560 so why I showed it I think there is no difference between the two and maybe the 357 on a smaller pitch chain equals that the 560 has a shorter bar with larger pitch. Where did you get the dolly from mate, and how much ?
  25. Martin trying his ported 357xp on my 560 .... Martins 357 has a popup piston as well I think?! Really they should be on same pitch and bars as martin runs 3/25 and has a longer bar whilst I'm running 3/8's so for a fair comparison or even better the same bar and chain... And if he had told me what he was doing I would of sharpened my saw. If any body in the north east has a 6100 and wants to compare them I would be really interested.
