  1. Where can you get a 560 crank from ?? Can not see them on pdf parts lists ? Failing that can you split it and replace the Conrod and replace bearing as it's supposedly three piece ?
  2. If it's been used twice it won't Evan be ran in!
  3. He could tell you... but would have to kill you afterwards.
  4. I know plenty of low land arable farmers and they would be lucky to work 4 months of the year. Stock keeping is a different game completely and I take my hat off to people that do it well although some of the automated pig units I have recently seen that is not the case and also put me off eating meat altogether if that's how soulless farming has become and the respect for the animals in it.
  5. It wasn't one of the fake 395's on eBay that pop up all the time?
  6. I've had con rod disintegrate on one as well.
  7. Pfanner trousers about 8 months Pfanner boots about 18 months
  8. Nice work rich !
  9. Carbon geckos with strap bottoms and Velcro tops , you can change the gaffs for the short or long no bother.
  10. Aye the early 201 is just dangerous for dropping big tops and side limbs as well as rigging it's just a gutless heap. If my 540 was a 200 it would of snapped a couple of chain break handles had at least one carb, earth wire or two , a chain break dog bone and maybe a carb boot in a year. 540's has a set of clutch springs although the saw strop connecter failed I should of replaced it when I got it as it was one of the recalled ones I just never got round to it. Despite that it fell over 50ft bounced off a tree and sat on the ground ticking over. And a rear anti vibe spring but that was through some one else using it and throwing it hard on the strop.... It will probably fall apart today now.
  11. I like my 540 , very much dislike my 201 back up.
  12. Don't make it obvious with the cameras though as they will just take them out from a distance.. Or plan another route around they are bloody good at what they do!
  13. Timberwolf 230 on finance ? The 125 is about best in it's class for weight bs performance I recon.
  14. Get the best secure and loudest alarms possible! I regret not doing that.
  15. Some one will snap soon, I left my business and area I had lived most of my life because I'd had enough of being robbed or followed or watched all day and continually watching my back ,being in herts a few miles from Cambs and beds borders did not help Police the could not organise a piss up in a brewery ,over 60ks worth of gear over 20 years , same people every time or there relatives and it got to the point were I would of committed murder...but these scum are not worth doing the time for... I hope from the rest of this crap experience, things work out smooth with your insurance mate... And maybe just maybe they get caught or next time they rob the wrong person.
  16. They are good for reducing thorn hedges
  17. Isn't the tree stuff one compressed air with a pump? So there's no explosive charge , I can't see why that would be illegal.
  18. You can but I would start as high as possible and use a combination of butt ,tip and Balance rigging, and do as Gand says. As Adam says applying pressure to the system is dangerous but it is also critical in getting it to work. If you want to really make it complicated you can add another pulley or two and line in ,so you can lift and lower bits.. So if the piece goes midway along the line the retrieval line rope stops and the bit can be lowered off the third rope. I use a set up like the first vid but with a bigger pulley and rigging plate so multiple small bits can be slinged and third line added if needed and the system sits nicer. But tension is the key or you will be disappointed !
  19. Seeing the 3120 is an 80's saw I wonder if husky have plans on replacing the beast.
  20. Very nice jay.
  21. I would get on the blower mate and give them some! Well out of order if you payed for a full service.
  22. Some cheap ones on eBay at £5 each ex army stainless steel plus £2 postage , cheapest for quality I could find.
  23. Would of thought you are better sticking on 404 and using the torque to your advantage with the 880 john. I find them slower , but great for milling but they drink fuel and are heavy and not much fun to use up a tree hence why I would recommend the smaller saw. How do you find the 660 on a 36" bar next to the 880 John?.
  24. Once your 395 is out of warranty get spud to open it up port it advance timing ect and it will be the only saw you need. I ran mine side by side ringing up big hardwood butts against a 880 on a 36" the other week and the 395 performed noticeably better.
  25. Honeys did have some thing that looked identical well almost and was just a little more supple.
