  1. Do as Mick or tree quip say or reduce them 15/25% and shape to balance to keep the wind sail minimal on the old topping cuts this pruning kept within the BS guidelines the regrowth will be less vigorous.
  2. Pure speculation on my cynical behalf ... I'm only again speculating that ART , treeimagineers, tuefelberger , petzl and DMM the big players in the arb climbing industry have no SRT products and have no plans as far as I'm aware on offering any either, ... just makes sense to me that the kind of climbers who would of used products like the spider jack mostly have switched from dirt rope technique to SRT so its killed the market for a lot of there devices and tools... I'm just guessing you would do something about it if you could?
  3. I'm no fan but the alternative... Clinton where do you begin ! You won't hear a bad word on her as the media is owned by her backers.
  4. Exactly!
  5. Same as eggs.
  6. On the cougars it seemed fine fully open on top and one on the bottom. Didn't enjoy the Stirling but it needs braking in a more an milking.
  7. Uhhm I wonder who pushed for this ? Maybe seeing as the sales of the new spider jack have been so pathetic...
  8. That's what I was thinking , hope it's not a crank case bolt!
  9. 576 25" then ported 395 36" for most trees has been my standard set up for about 10 years.. if It's just cut n drop I'll take a 560 instead of a topper for the smaller stuff but that's about the only time I'll take a 60cc saw up. If it is getting over 50" I may consider the 880 but I'd rather double cut on the 395.
  10. Looks 14m in the last pic.
  11. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016_Orlando_nightclub_shooting
  12. Are they not paying tax ? All serial numbers are on your invoices when buying gear... unless it's stolen to begin with.
  13. Spot on , I grew up out side Luton and went to school with many muslims , there summer holidays where spent firing machine guns and rocket launchers in Pakistan and there evenings and weekends at home learning martial arts ,guess what there parents where preparing them for and what they indoctrinated in to there children ? Recently I've spent time at Muslim weddings and spent New Years with a Pakistani Muslim and some of the conversations are worrying to say the least.
  14. Nice RJ's fellas , top work ...Beech in the wet as well, got to be one of the nastiest trees to climb as well.
  15. Very true and Considering bill Clinton actually assaulted a number women that is a big difference from having a laugh with another dude about wanting to grab some pussy.

  17. If he takes down George soros he gets my vote.

  20. The good the bad and the ugly Glad to see the back of sycamores for a while!
  21. Sorry to hear that , hope they left some clues !
  22. Douglas is more of a salmon pink and cedar probably more neutral if that makes a difference!
  23. You don't help your self at all spouting shite like that.
  24. Could not find a single uk supplier Andy so looked at tree stuffs website plenty on there and some real fancy stuff too so ordered last Friday for a failing beech the client wants to try and save with rods through the trunk and a main cable above and it arrived here on Wednesday but with a £30 import charge. Check them out all I could find was the same old dynamic cobra /boa from uk suppliers no good for an already failing tree.
  25. On the serial number I think it's the first few digits , basically if it is one of the first gen 560's you could have problems with the bottom end the later models had another crank bolt added as the early ones kept sucking in gaskets and other issues... mine went with a bang the good side was Husqvarna do a new style 560 ready built short block very cheap I forget the price though.
