  1. 576 25" then ported 395 36" for most trees has been my standard set up for about 10 years.. if It's just cut n drop I'll take a 560 instead of a topper for the smaller stuff but that's about the only time I'll take a 60cc saw up. If it is getting over 50" I may consider the 880 but I'd rather double cut on the 395.
  2. Looks 14m in the last pic.

  4. Are they not paying tax ? All serial numbers are on your invoices when buying gear... unless it's stolen to begin with.
  5. Spot on , I grew up out side Luton and went to school with many muslims , there summer holidays where spent firing machine guns and rocket launchers in Pakistan and there evenings and weekends at home learning martial arts ,guess what there parents where preparing them for and what they indoctrinated in to there children ? Recently I've spent time at Muslim weddings and spent New Years with a Pakistani Muslim and some of the conversations are worrying to say the least.

  16. Could not find a single uk supplier Andy so looked at tree stuffs website plenty on there and some real fancy stuff too so ordered last Friday for a failing beech the client wants to try and save with rods through the trunk and a main cable above and it arrived here on Wednesday but with a £30 import charge. Check them out all I could find was the same old dynamic cobra /boa from uk suppliers no good for an already failing tree.
  17. On the serial number I think it's the first few digits , basically if it is one of the first gen 560's you could have problems with the bottom end the later models had another crank bolt added as the early ones kept sucking in gaskets and other issues... mine went with a bang the good side was Husqvarna do a new style 560 ready built short block very cheap I forget the price though.
  18. How old is the saw ?
  19. I found it only self tended at around 30ft also make sure the tail of your rope is always is hanging free.
  20. Big game trophy shots I call them , like a Victorian hunter posing over a magnificently beautiful piece of nature that you have just killed and feeling proud and manly you have just tamed the beast ,tragic really .. You must have a few piles of rubble you have been proud of creating eggs ?
  21. Day two of work climbing and the akimbo is growing on me , particularly that it grabs the rope all the time every time... it's just there with no sit back at all, feels great on ascenders.
  22. That's some going Jake, good work ! What avant are you running ?
  23. Thanks Jake , no timber staying on site ,just had to be clear off the steeper bank.
  24. iPhone ... toying with the idea of an iPad but that's the price of a new fishing rod and my eyes are not that bad yet.
