  2. Guess your in the no LOLER brigade them. Too macho for all that H&S crap no doubt
  3. That is a nice looking honeybros splice Rob.....
  4. Nice work !
  5. You only need to have your tickets etc when you want some of there money.
  6. Could you please share the data as it sounds invaluable. Thankyou
  7. There is no control of when & where a sj or Lj self tends however a v.t. may never do so Selecting the system for you is experience & preference not fashion.
  8. This government may be many things, but stupid is not one of them. It has been a nice diversion to bigger stories
  9. As an enplyee you complain about critical issues - through a legal outlet eg a union you are vilified by a Tory government & press. If you don't complain when there real legitimate issues your screwed. What then? For those who say - make them self employed, no paid hold, sick pay etc - go get a bloody job. You obviously are not in a happy position so change it as opposed to complaining that someone else earns more money than you do. Without people making us aware of problems how can we progress? Oh I'm sorry we have to put-up & shut up, suffer in silence & let those that choose to exploit the system (from chavs to bankers) reap the rewards.
  10. Hope it's not up your back as it would look like you were in the sheep fields during tupping season
  11. Costs too much money. No benefits just hard labour & pay them a wage if they deserve it. Hunger makes man eager to work for a living.
  12. When will people understand that if you don't have the balls to stand up & complain & act if you need too then you will be trampled irrespective how hard you work. Not brain surgery folks
  13. With a 16" you need time lapse photography to record the cut!
  14. Yours are sensitive to most things female I bet mr Collins - spaniels & sheep included knowing you
  15. The rooting/budding hormones are sensitive to gravity.
  16. 14in ok for pruning as the extra reach is always usefull, but when it comes to wrecking out trees go for a 12in if your not running a ported saw. It gives far better chain speed & performance. I presume wear on the engine would increase using the longer bars
  17. You have no manners windfall. If I insinuated that your mrs did dress like that you would probably go postal on me. Not funny dude
  18. A good grinder & carefully operator will consistently produce the best cutting chains. Especially noticeable with longer bars. I would not prepare chains for milling any other way if I still had one
  19. In a nutshell - yup!
  20. No right to protest when things are thought to be unfair (decided by ballot)? Strike is a necessary tool without which the opinions of the masses are no more than hot air. Not to be used at a whim but when needed a legitimate peacefully form of complaint. It made me laugh when the government said we could not afford a national strike last year - guess it spent all it's money on a national holiday for the royal wedding?
  21. Same as that. Got to be a change in timing
  22. The tree is in decline & the signals are indicating that it may be hazardous. I would recommend removal sooner rather than later
  23. chain binders, wratchet straps galore & see how it responds before you make a decision
  24. Nice job Reg
