How many times have I heard, "what works best for you"...

That's not to say your chosen option might be the best possible option of all the options available, but if it works for you, then you have your own gold standard..

Theres the advice on buying a tripod ladder, don't go for the tallest, get the one you'll use the most.... thats good advice, it can be translated to anything you work with..

Trucks included...

I'd say 2 small trucks over a bigger one. least you have the option of splitting them up on 2 different sites

Thats ok if you want to run two teams.

Id just want to stay as one team and have capacity to get the job done and dusted. So is it still 2 trucks? Or one bigger truck lol :D

Its simple Chris, the question should read " should I run legal or illegal ?"

Illegal

Overloaded 3.5 tonner

Ag registered mog on domestic tree work.

Ag registered tractors/trailers on domestic tree work

Overloaded 4x4 tippers.

Legal

3.5 ton truck with three guys and the tools, nose weight of a chipper and nothing in the back.

Mog registered as a commercial, plated, on white diesel, taxed accordingly , run on an O license and driven with appropriate driving license.

The 7.5 + ton truck is starting to look good :)
