    Climbing and felling/hand cutting

    14+ years experience subcontract climbing, the last year have been felling oversize trees for forestry England (forestry commission). Age 41 Tickets are cs 30/31/32/38/39/40 mewp , efaw+f, DBs cert Have lots of experience rigging. Lots of experience reducing, pollarding and deadwooding etc. No internodal cuts on reductions, no round overs or topping/lopping etc. All work done to a high spec in a productive and professional manner. No cutting corners or taking risks. Climb SRT and ddrt. Confident and productive on spikes. Clean new serviceable kit not old tat. Loler cert. Saws, 540t, 560, 572, 592 Full felling kit, wedges, tirfor, tag lines etc 4x4 with mud tyres and recovery kit

  10. Hi everyone, I'm a climber looking for Saturday work in the west midlands area. I have all the relevant tickets and have been in the industry for five years but I'm looking to get better/faster at reductions specifically. If anybody has any work available or knows anyone that does send me a message.

  18. So you've got the tractors and want to spend 7k. Personally I'd just bite the bullet and spend 2k on a small flail the same width as the tractor. Or keep you're eye out for an ex council front flail ride on mower that's going to be diesel and a hell of a lot more comfortable and safer. As realistically the neighbours aren't going to pay more than £50 an hour for mowing.
