Water pool developing where branch was cut
kram replied to Magnolia's question in Homeowners Tree Advice Forum
The current best practise is to leave it as is - the tree has healed over the original wound. If you cut a slot or drill holes, that only adds a fresh wound that is surrounded by already rotting material, which will cause further infection and rot. A less harmful alternative could be a peice of cloth in the hole which will wick out the water. Note that being wet may prevent some fungi and insects that would thrive if it were a dry hole.- 1 reply

maybe you were thinking of this version?? First published in the late 1960s and in 1971, the magazine became the subject of the longest obscenity trial in British history thanks to an edition aimed at children and featuring a cartoon Rupert the Bear in a sexually explicit parody. Greatest addiction to the tranny, ford not Harrison, was the tool locker. I had previously just alung the kit on the back of the tipping bed sliding around. My friend has one of the flat pack canopies on his ranger, looks really good and he is dead happy with it.

Hi, I think both, I think you can inject it into the holes... I've only done this once to a chair which was easy but I guess with something much bigger I guess you could spray it. Being no expert, I think if I had serious woodworm in my house for example I would be tempted to buy a pukka woodworm treatment or if it was bad enough call in a professional. Cheers.

Finally got recovered at 9.30pm, western recovery were very good. Said they had been sent somewhere else and had been given the wrong number some hours ago. Quite frankly I found the whole process appalling. I do feel as though the initial patrol guy could have been more helpful. We had waited 2 hours for him to arrive and confirm what I had said. Then we had to be on the phone for 20 mins before we could get a call handler to then tell them what the situation was. Very happy to get in that lorry with the car on the back. Ordered the replacement belt, of course not one the local motor factors keep on the shelf, tomorrows job.

Thanks. Ill look into it although our past dealings with Amazon aren't very good from memory. Its an awful platform to sell on so we ditched it.

Thanks It looks like they have discontinued the 300 and 500 charger. I will pass the info on to Husky, they really to need to make it clear that you need a new charger for those batteries. It will certainly put more customers off from moving over to battery products when there are issues like this.

Search for it on here. Discussed within the last year. The conclusion I came to was that it's handy like a Hobbs for pre-tension (and handier because it's smaller and cheaper) but a lift any longer than a foot ot two with the cleat method in the video will be a pain because rope will pile up on the drum. On Monday, I'm collecting the backplate for the pre-production prototype of something better. dawinchi site:arbtalk.co.uk because the actual site search function isn't great.
