Does it have bladed (car type) fuses? It is easier to check for parasitic loads by checking for a voltage drop across the fuse (fuses work by having a resistance that heats up and melts the fuse wire if too much current passes, current passing through the resistance causes a voltage drop across the fuse). There is a little pair of "windows" at the back of the fuse which are bare contacts that can be probed. Ifthere is a discernible voltage that circuit is carrying a current. I suspect the current measuring on your DMM should be the left two sockets.

I think that would be fair, although you'd probably want the timber too to make it pay for you.

That means a lot of people need to be paid off as threats against lots of people wouldn't work and even then its a lot of people and money and not everyone will comply, and they could leave testimonials that would be released after their death implicating those above and below them.

I store mine stalk up in a cool place. Never tried stalk down, having said that. Key is that they don't touch each other, and you chuck out any mouldy ones sharpish. Some of them at least will last until the new year. Only store really good ones, don't bother with any even slightly bruised / battered ones... In theory you can store them touching wrapped in newspaper, but I've never had time to wrap, and don't know how you'd then check them.

I'll see if I can take a few photos and post 'em up, maybe it would help to identify it. all my husqvarnas are older examples and the build quality is testament to how they have survived decades of use, and even abuse, this 350 is pitiful both in design and build, every corner that could be cut in its design has been taken, I doubt it would last a season if I was still working a saw daily. I managed to get a few shots, but its hard to show the crap fixings, course threads like self tapping screws into plastic.

Morning all, Changing main drive belt on Jensen chipper. One of those with 4 belts bonded together. Was a pig to remove yesterday. I’m fitting 4 singles hoping that will be easier. Then got to drill out the seized bolts I had to chisel off to get lower cover off to get proper access. Still, rather do this under cover than have the old belt fail on site!

The machining marks which go around the piston are completely worn away, so yes I'd say that is pretty worn and new piston needed. You can probably clean up and reuse the cylinder, definitely worth a go. Possibly also look for a Meteor piston , makes the experiment cheaper and they work pretty well.

when I had my first bike, a standard well worn 250 Royal Enfield I dreamed of one day owning a bike that did "the ton" as life moved on and that was achieved I had no idea that before I gave up bikes completely I would double that magical figure. I speak occasionally with an old deerstalker friend, with a military background and now approaching 90 years old, tells me there comes a time when the killing stops, you grassed enough deer, the quest for speed dwindles, and you cant predict when it happens, but it surely does, but until that moment,,, give it hell.
