  2. Thanks for asking my opinion. It seems that assimilation is in progress ... resisting it seems to be difficult or maybe even futile. 🙄 I'd go back to 1972 btw.... pre-digital virus, 👍
  3. hu-63a, also fitted to the homelite 290 iirc. rebuild kits are available, simple to fit. kit# RK-14HU around £7-8

  7. Mate of mine has just had his hedge laid and is in need of a load of hazel binders to complete the job. Is anyone aware of a supplier of these in the Herefordshire or surrounding area? The hedge length is 63metres. Many thanks, Bob
  8. Are the plugs the metal or plastic type ?. Might be worth buying the plastic type with the screw type gland, plus use a cable tie on the inside cable as a belt and braces. 11. Yes, one of our GM1928s had the same. Because of some small air leak the fuel drained back into the tank, which effectively meant you had to bleed it each time it had been left for a while. It was under warranty and I think dealer fitted a check valve in the fuel line or pick up to keep the line full..
  12. Thai Prawn Crackers. In a league above the ones you get free with the Chinese takeaway. They've got a little chilli kick and not overly sweet.
  13. he says his model has a Teiki carb If the machine looks like this it is probably too old for the Chinese to bother copying the carb

  23. I have an old Dynamac DY41 from Machine Mart which was made by Efco. It still runs and cuts well but it's a bit heavy for a 40cc saw. It also oils constantly not like newer saws which only oil when the chain runs
  24. Thanks guys. We split the majority with the cone splitter that is attached to the chipper. That with the aid of the crane to move it. but even that has a limit hence why we had to cut the last few sections up. Yes it was a shame but transport to remove was more expensive and as mentioned it will all be reused onsite so everyone was happy in the end. But that chipper was amazing the speed it processed the timber. Filled my 3.5t van in70 seconds! even the built in crane was great. Had a 14 t digger also but that didnt do much in the end as the chipper crane and actual crane did all the work. for me this is probably a one off job that i doubt i'll ever get to do again but it was a great day and the kit for us was awesome!

    Jokes???

Brian had been in the Rhodesian war as part of an elite unit, The Selous Scouts. He wore full overalls in the bush which included a hood as part of his camo outfit. He had to crouch down one day on patrol, overalls down while scanning left and right with his FN to his eye. Finished, used the pebbles, hitched up his overalls to find a dump in the hood! The rest of the S & D patrol was bad.....
