    Jokes???

I prefer an indecent coffee maker myself, far more fun!
  3. Some of the stems came out with practically no root at all. These were just trimmed to a single stick with no branch at all, then laid over ! There was a pleacher every 1-2' to try to give some hold to the hedge in the absence of sound established roots.
  4. I do rate a buffalo techlite for drizzly days. They stay comfy when damp. It's currently my most worn jacket unless it's wet rain.. I've asked them if they can make an orange one or atkeast orange on the shoulders/arms. And raise the side pockets above the harness for handwarming.. so far no response. I always feel daft wearing dark earthy colours for tree work
  5. Love the cafe unrequited love story! Not sure what I've got on but would like to watch the rugby! Bonus daughter doing a roast for 8 people later which is usually a good affair! Bauble, Land, Squeak.

  8. Anybody else there to witness a fantastic game? A friend asked me down as he has permanent seats there. I have been twice before and not enjoyed it as it was either freezing cold or raining or both but this time the weather was perfect and I think they seem to have altered the floodlighting as everything seemed so clear. The atmosphere was great and also better than previous occasions I have just watched the Welsh game and thought that they did well in spite of the score. They were not only up against a great side but also up against a side that had obviously been given a strong dressing down by the management! The quality of passing and kicking is a joy to watch and also my attention is with the Red Roses whose handling and passing is also superb. Being a sad old git I can watch Ellie again and again!

  9. It is a rare condition when certain people working with wood all their lives have their brain matter replaced with sawdust!
  10. I am pretty sure the moral amongst the Russians is as low if not more so . They are deserting in droves .

  12. No mate, its not that big, must be the aspect of the photo! You can easily stand and split from the ground. Guy that built it for us made sure it was sub 750 kg for the road.
  13. You say that, but ......
  14. Picked one up in Aldi today actually.. wouldn't have seen that 20 years ago 😂
  15. Yeah I use radmoors a fair bit. But still too far to drive. Always happy with the service provided and would recommend. Latest battery husky hedge trimmer was delivered next day from them. Honey ordered Friday arrived the following Friday with delivery charged at £9.99. Is what it is I suppose, nobody died I got my goods but I do feel like the delivery charge is a bit steep for the timescale.
  16. The last decent sized job I planted was about 30,000 mixed hardwood, 14,000 of them an experimental Sessile Oak block, with a mix of UK and German provenance, FC site over at Abbots Wood near Polegate, East Sussex. All trees had to be staked and tubed at the end of every day due to excessive browsing by the exploding deer population., then had to replant and re stake hundreds of them every Monday due to the weekend vandalism. I had planted a similar amount every Winter for the best part of 25 years, but this was the end of the line for me, stood there at 5am digging in the dark with a head torch on to get the numbers in and make it pay, only to have the whole lot ravaged within 5 years by grey squirrels, no thanks.
  17. Agree. I think they're unrelated, OSM has just been particularly unlucky! They probably share causes; the same occupations or too much of one thing can lead to either or both of them.

As per the title. Dolmar PS-420c package brand new and unused. Bought several years ago from Shavey of this parish to replace my old husky. Long story short I ended up changing jobs and going back into the construction industry. Still got a couple of other saws that I use for firewood but I’m not in the arb industry at all now. The power head has never had fuel in it. Comes with an 18” Dolmar bar and Dolmar 18” 325 chain. Also a 15” Dolmar bar and Dolmar 15” 325 chain. Also 1L of Dolmar oil, bar sheath and metal Dolmar carry case. Everything is unused, and has been stored carefully. Make a great saw for someone starting out or wanting a good back up or delimbing saw. Not sure what this is worth so how about £300 collected from Felsted North Essex CM63 postcode. Happy to post at buyers expense or meet up if a reasonable distance etc. happy to answer any questions Jez 07790 022007

  19. What an innings. You have to hand it to the guy, that was tremendous batting. Not so tremendous a performance from England's batting to put it extremely mildly.
  20. Surely that's misuse, like ragging it on full throttle while the clutch slips? Otherwise I can't see how to wear the inside of the drum so much before the teeth come off the sprocket.

  22. Fxk no. They're comical with their crazy heat, and have a weird but nice flavour. Not that easy to grow here though..
  23. Hi what model is the clinometer? thanks.
  24. Try and find a NRV to fit before the filter to stop leak back, maybe strip the mechanical lift pump as it may have rubbish in a valve prevent a good suction/pump.
  25. They dont do one, only full size die grinders. That would be like using a Stihl 500i for pruning a fruit tree.
  26. One of the two is harder to get spares for,i. Can't remember if its the 3 litre or 1.9. Poss the 1.9 as farrier had one and spares were hard to get and expensive also, things like the turbo and also how something like the manifold was crap Please correct me if wrong .
  27. I have a husky 525rx for stuff like that. Light and very good anti vibe and fairly cheap Battery strimmer's are ok but don't have very good run times & will cost more for decent ones but worth considering if you already have a load of compatible batteries. Bigger strimmer will do the job fine also but heavier.
