Wilting via heat/water stress, have they been like that for long? Other option could be Canker of there's any signs?

I'm not sure about Squaredy's, but wild ones do exist. I'm not much versed in botanical classification, but I think you're right, cultivated strawberries are a different species, same genus. How to Grow Alpine Strawberries | BBC Gardeners World Magazine WWW.GARDENERSWORLD.COM All you need to know about growing and caring for wild strawberries, in our Grow Guide. I guess the one you tried wasn't ripe enough. I've noticed that there can be a marked difference in flavour between two similar looking fruit. Like they save all their sweetness until the very last minute. Some interesting botany going on with them. Strawberry - Wikipedia EN.M.WIKIPEDIA.ORG

You see mark it’s very difficult to discuss anything with a blagger who won’t answer any questions he deems uncomfortable, the whole silence or ignoring things is his well known and often used tactic. It’s not an obsession as such ( not like the trumpers on here suffering from the syndrome) rather an amusing interlude to a long day. I do wonder if his libtard politics didn’t align so well with your libtard politics whether you’d be here sticking up for a blatant BS blagger. I’m pretty sure if it were me hiding and avoiding answering pertinent questions during debates you’d be howling with the rest of the ATL big time.

No air con? I was at my parents the other day and they were complaining about the heat. They've got a few quid so I mentioned that they should look into getting air conditioning. I dunno about the cost but I reckon if the UK sees more consistent heat waves then it wouldn't be a bad business to get into to. But if your in France and don't have it then my little business venture is dead in the water!

Helping a mate out on one of his jobs today. Removing three 25m conifers, two Corsican pine and a Douglas fir, no rigging, just stripped and topped for felling, customer added an additional small Larch to the spec. Masses of chipping, ran 15 cubic metres worth off to a Chateau just up the road. Felled the Douglas between the posts and called it a day as it was still 34 degrees in the shade.

I’m looking for a pickup mewp to use on a utility contract, and it looks as though it’s basically a toss up between an Isuzu Dmax or Toyota Hilux mewp (don’t mention defenders!) Has anyone here had experience running either long term? I have a Hilux tipper that is amazing, but the Isuzu trucks are cheaper for the same boom/miles. I’m aware that some Isuzus have DPF issues? Any input much appreciated!

Definitely will do! Thanks for your input though

Well, ah went inta tha toon, this afternoon, and both motor factors recommended a GYS Batium. They both also, each, despite retailing multiple Ring products, described the Ring stuff as only suitable for very occasional use( an who fornicating knew?) So ah bought a 12V/15A Batium . Despite its French provanance. For a relatively insignificant amount more than random on line suppliers. Fingers crossed.

Fair points all. Each to their own. I won't swap my plum maggots for your sheep's arse maggots if it's all the same to you.

I do broadly agree but sometimes you just need to get something done, now.

While I know you're correct, and while we all know that fifty years ago these were automatically granted, sadly I don't have the paper licence to prove it. I don't expect to need to drive a 7.5t vehicle, so I can accept the loss. Thanks for your input, I agree totally.

Yeap, a typical labour esk thought process. A milliweird, do as I say not do as I do. Green is good you bigot, turns on the coal fire whilst banning anything and everything for everyone else.

Same story for my 5.0 TVR, cheaper to insure than a 7 year old Ford S-Max!!! We should all just start driving V8s -
Does the saw hang for a second or two from the starter rope (confirming reasonable compression)? What does the piston look like? Any leaks in the fuel and impulse line.

Agreed, the only thing I find with those additives is they can bung up the sprayer nozzles. That's fine if you are doing a lot and can rinse out the sprayer afterwards, but I have one sprayer that is permanently filled with glyphosate.

As above plus write a statement explaining why you are deemed competent to operate the machine / deliver the service plus the experience you have (incl. any recognised clients, Local Authorities / Construction co. etc.) and what procedures you follow (RAMS included but ref. to machinery handbook etc.) People often refer to qualifications meaning competence

Again thanks for the replies. There was no give in the trunks. Customer agreed to replace it and monitor it every couple of years for adjustment rather than 6 years
