  1. ive got kindlett good machine works well on round wood

I say retrain your customers. in my experience people will buy whatever you have for sale as long as you are honest about what it is. that goes for green vs seasoned and also softwood vs hardwood. i always sell wood as it comes and leave it up to the customer to season it if they want to. i think we need to look to the way other countries do it - ie the customer buys it in and stores it and uses it when they are ready rather than the typical customer here that buys it today for burning tonight. they need to remember they're not buying gas or electric from a multinational company, they are buying a local product from (usually) a small company. i do think though that honesty is key as it educating the customers. rant over
  3. friend of mine dose horse logging he says you can not use just any type of horse its got to have it in them to cope with the noise etc
  4. i give customers discount of £5 if they introduce a friend and a free bag of sticks that works well for me
  5. just remember what they did to the gas fitter changed from cose to gas safe all that did was make the training companys lots of money are they trying the same with us
  6. i hire my processor plus opperator for £200 a day i charge mileage depending on the distance i have to travel i have a farmi self powerd word of advice do not let it go out without opperator

  12. ive always sold mixed loads or softwood they get what i have never have problem selling it
  13. nasty bite. id love that dog to look after my kit
  14. try your loacal landreistry office they can be very helpful and can do a land search for you or you can do it on line it only costs a few pounds
  15. try not to sell by volume or weight unless you can prove what they are eg weighbridge receipt or size of bag from manfacturer which will be attched to bag
