  1. No. Not really. One single fairly loud, but low toned bang. Bit like someone hitting a bass drum. Then loss of power and the engine did sound different, but not metal/nails. Yours sounds like fins off the turbo have maybe broken and sucked through the system. Hopefully not. Like you, I did check the exhaust first. Thought it could be that at first
  2. Yes. Mine blew off at the jubilee clip driving on motorway. (Transit) quite a bang and loss of power

    Wounded Hand

I was working on my bike about 15 years ago. Got a metal burr. Similar entry wound and it then migrated a similar distance over about a week. Go over any stiles, barbed wire etc?
  4. No good for you mate. Merseyside/ Lancs border North west
  5. Water lane farm. Very quick and easy. Take anything, heavy, brash, chip. No soil 20 quid a transit load. It's not my usual stomping ground , but it's really handy if I get the odd job near to
  6. Has anyone had anything shipped or imported from Europe recently? I'm looking at a used chipper in Holland. Is it a nightmare at the moment? Should I just forget the idea? Has anyone any idea of costs? I'm prepared to go and get it, but is it easier and cheaper to ship? Thanks
  7. A very astute Hartlepool voter was on praising the Tories because they have 9 food banks now, and didn't have any under Labour
  8. Very good. Thanks. Haven't got a greenmech, but a lot of the information relates to any chipper 👍
  9. I'd say, get someone in to do the lot. I can't see my price would be any different. What are we talking about, an extra 20 seconds work. Plus, you won't have it lying there whilst numerous companies let you down
  10. Does anyone else own a 2ft square plot of land on the isle of islay? I got one free with a bottle of laphraig many years ago! Just thought if anyone else got one we could join plots and maybe pitch a very small tent or something 😁
  11. No. Anyone under 30 doesn't know what a map is
  12. I think this is where the London issue comes in. You could have a climber, 2 groundies, truck and chipper stuck on the north circular for 2 hrs
  13. My favourite is when the lady of the house says 'Oh forget it, I'll get my husband to do it'. It's even better when the husband is present, and you get to see his face
  14. Well done. Buggers, hung up trees. If it's down safely, with no damage, I'd say that's a success. Is this a follow up to a previous thread? Pics would help
  15. A little bit more than it would've done before the best rigging points were removed
  16. Oh dear, that is fairly hard-core, there is help out there. The industry could do more, all those nice stripes and fancy badges aren't helping!
  17. 😂😂 you've got to take some responsibility for showing her the pic😆
  18. 😁 sorry!
  19. Not sure what I think of this. Not my work. Basically, conifers felled and log in fill to form a fence. Definitely don't like the top, but scores highly on the eco friendly/recycle ratings
  20. Dodge 1947 W series
  21. I don't know, I'll find out. He was over in America working, saw it in a field, asked the owner if he would sell. He likes a challenge.
  22. Mate had it imported from the states. Not sure how old it is 1948 I think, but hasn't been started since 1967
  23. Snooker cues!
  24. Got to be stihl, I would think. Do they still do 82R and 82T. Spacing of teeth is wider on the R, if they still do 2 options
