  1. Adding the grading beam to the ever growing list of attachments for the 3 tonner and I see the nice guys at BMC have a 4-in-1 bucket. If I didnt have a grab already that would be a really good comprimse. 4 in 1 bucket 2 – 25 Ton – The Bucket Manufacturing Company BMC-BUCKETS.CO.UK
  2. the value is pegged to the blockchain. Worth is subjective.
  3. id be looking at a 8 x 4 sheets of steel mesh then clamping the welder to them to cover much larger areas in one hit. Obviously its going to kill eveything but would be loads quicker. Could drag it behind a quad bike or something to speed the process up and carry the genny. from the specs its driving by an 8.5kva genny so i would guess 30a @ 240v then stepped up to high voltage using the box. Does it say on it anywhere exactly what the voltage is ?
  4. Sorry got to add it is electricide. Lots of current through stem and roots to kill plant could use a welder to do the same I guess, earth clipped to a ground stakke and live slipped to end of hoe. Wooden handle of course. Bet is takes bloody ages though on a patch of nettles...
  5. If you havent got the cash to hand or have better uses for it look at contract hire. You can claim the lot against tax and only pay the depreciation which is why its generally a better deal than purchasing. Credit score isnt so important as you dont own it. Air Tools

So having a look at the nifty air spade on the other thread and killing 2 birds with one stone. Fencing nailer, I use the dewalt electric whose only drawback is the weight. The tennis elbow hates it. I was looking at the flexvolt compressor and 1st fix nailer as its not quite half the weight of the electric gun while still being fully portable and no mains BUT it wont be man anough for the air spade. As the vehicle is allways on-site is there a vehicle mounted compressor that could be used instead to save lugging round a petrol one ? Flexvolt Pneumatic compressor | DEWALT WWW.DEWALT.CO.UK
  7. no no no! you need a bobcat E10 and and auger !!!
  8. dont bother drilling, cover the back with sticks like. will be the strongest part of a wimpy house.
  9. just cut out the efficiency losses of the pump and use the windmill to generate electricity directly. You will get more.
  10. Tesla have this feature already built in but not enabled. The biggest cost is the storage itself which the grid would be getting for free in effect, there is already a lot of work being done so expect pilot trials to roll out next 12 months. The tesla powerwall already works but is static, they just need to account for the metering when your car can be connected to many meters throughout the day.

    New Defender

same, keeping the current vehicles until the other manufacturers can produce a tesla competitive vehcile. Min 300 miles range (100KW/h battery pack) for under £40k.
  12. Actually it is possible and will be more so, probably legally enforceable in the coming years. As the majority move to electric vehicles in the next 20 years with an average capacity of 80 KW/h (we use 18kw/h day)these will be used at home and work to balance the grid. Think of it as a mobile Tesla powerwall x 16. The house /work will pull from the vehicle when demand is peak and put it back when there is excess. And yes you will always have enough juice to get home as it would only need to sell a small percentage of your total battery to be allocated to the national 'pool'. I've had a Tesla powerwall for 2 years now and since moving to a time of day tariff have never paid more than 4-5p KW/h for electric due to the time shifting of power use. This will be the standard for all of us.
  13. the US government has enough worry about it to start an official study. No way id have it where my family reside and sleep even if it was 1% cancer risk when there is known safe alternatives. 14. not just profit, you can pay family members dividends ( cheaper than inc tax), you can borrow money from the company and not pay tax on it for a while, you can bump the company to clear off a debt and resurect it debt free and go again, lots of little fiddles/advantages.
  15. yes get a bean counter on it, no way its more than £1500.

  17. you need to test pressure when it exhibits the fault if you can. But It looks like swopping the pump is the crack.
  18. get the bobcat E10, an auger head and cutter. they on 5 years 0%. Better than any ISA.
  19. that would have been end of for me. Thats how much respect he has for you, do drugs outside your house.
  20. any of the shitistan places will do.
  21. my advice, buy as many mini diggers in the last 5 years of trading as you can, write them off on your books and sell them for cash when you retire.
  22. i think you will be surprised, those domains less than £500 each. Obviously the associated business excluded.
