  1. best stick to the sheds then lads. Jackanory nonsense
  2. yeah one. they sold thousands. If you think a shed is better than a disco then there is no helping you. Probably drive a chav wagon.
  3. no they dont you only read about the bad ones. Not really a fair comparison a disco or a shed on wheels amazon.
  4. dont listen to the bollox spouted by people who have a 'mate' whos had one, they probably cant afford one and drive a rusted old knacker. Had 3, nothing other than the normal wear and tear stuff you get with any motor. Nothing out there has the power or comfort of a disco 3/4. The commercials are good value and pretty easy to put seats in the back. Last one I sold at 140k to move back into a defender before they stopped making them.
  5. decision has already been made the lice fee is going. It will be a voluntary netflix style model in my opinion. They will have to shrink as obviously all the feckless will immediately stop paying as no court action and a high percentage of everyone else (me included) would only pay a small fee for radio only, couple quid a month maybe. Maybe we could offload it to our jock friends once they go independant ? Couple tame haggis and a fivers worth of jockish francs.
  6. it does make you wonder the why the left fawn over the muzzers when the first thing the'd do once in power, as they did in iraq, was start hoiking the chutney ferrets off the nearest roof and bin bagging the wimmin. Kind of the opposite of a normal dead head leftie surely.
  7. done the normandy landings a couple times now, very moving the war graves. Sometimes you drive along and there will be half a dozen in a field, all immaculate. You dont come across the german graves the same, they were all dug up and put into a couple large mass graves as the locals didnt want them on the land. Very easy to visit for us and the normandy coast is beautiful.
  8. THE IMPACT MKII - FX Airguns FXAIRGUNS.COM The FX Impact is such a phenomenon and has permanently pushed forward the boundaries of what to expect from an air... only way to go !
  9. octopus more expensive and less flexible than green energy uk time of day tariff.
  10. shame its been repainted, better to leave original so nothing has been hidden...
  11. You dont need a solar array to make a powerwall viable. You get a time of day electric tariff and the powerwall makes it so you only every pay 7p kw/h for all your energy use instead of the 15p+ normal price by charging itself when its cheap or free and powering the house when its not.
  12. By the looks nothing is going to compete with a heat pump price or maintenance wise for domestic.
  13. thanks. Not much more than heat pump then and that is a fit and forget solution. The FIT payments arent really of any interest as we (the builder) dont get them. Heat pumps are priced like solar was before we all started fitting it, they will come down to combi boiler prices once we have to all install them routinely.
  14. we talking 5k, 10k, 20k ? Trying to compare to heat pump.
  15. how much was the complete install, what BTU, who provides the warranty and for how long ?
  16. they have to maintain it sure, but banned for newbuild in 2025. Gas heating ban for new homes from 2025 WWW.BBC.CO.UK Climate change: fossil fuel burning will become a thing of the past for new homes
  17. So we wont be able to fit combi's in new builds in a couple years as gas is going to be banned. Customers are getting more pro-active with new builds (we do decent ones not lego land) and want more/better insulation, materials etc. So it begs the question instead of heat pumps (air or ground) should we be looking at pellet boilers ? Dont get me wrong I do like heat pumps, really good for underfloor heating BUT no good for hot water and expensive install. Anyone have a pellet burner fitted to a typical 4 bed, whats it cost to fit and run ?
  18. this. too much like hardwork for the 5' plodette to get out of the nice warm £60k BMW to do some work.
  19. you need to drop some pikeys with saws a couple grand and go on holiday.
  20. You are doing nothing wrong. Keep that stove running 24 x 7 until June.
  21. paid the corp tax bill. ho, ho, fucking ho.
  22. actually no. You dont have the oil its in the English north sea. Scotland is a beggarly nation that has been a parasite to England for centuries, all you hear from jocks is how poor they are. We should definitely allow you to sod off and go independent and of course you will not be able to use the English currency, print your own monopoly money. Let's not forget your share of the national debt, say 20% as there are not a lot of you frock wearers, thats £360 Billion sterling. Your annual pocket money is £33 bill a year from us so you dont need to be a rocket scientist to see how you are going to fare. Probably best if you all just pipe down and say thanks a lot to every Englishman you meet.
  23. no such thing as poverty in this county or any need for foodbanks. It's a lifestyle choice for the scum and feckless. The dole, no rent, no council tax means they earn the same as the workign man without lifting a finger. fuck the lot of them. and merry christmas.
