  1. yup. not cars though.
  2. ah the window tax. Whether you have the rear windows blanked on a disco 3/4 governs your speed limit. If they are blanked you are a van and have to go 50 on A roads and dual carriageways, if you roll them down your a car and can do 60/70. The upside of this nonsense is blanked windows pay cheap road tax!
  3. correct some trailers when loaded. but never a car.
  4. sheet over the old roof. dont take anything off.
  5. nope. cars done need a tacho. its exploiting a loophole when downplating the vehicle keeps its train weight.
  6. wrong there is no limit on trailer weight limit on an old BE licence, the plated train weight of the tug is what defines it.
  7. you spec the mileage at start so no payment at end.
  8. berlingo a forestry vehicle ?
  9. maybe been better off not tieing up the cash and contract hiring.

    New Digger

the alumax trailer is really nice to tow with, you need a decent tug id say. ive got the 3ltr daily and i dont notice it there, also used a disco3 and we fine as well. the 27 is a bit old now, id go for the 030 as its bang upto date.

  12. not necessarily. It looks like cement board. Even if its not as long as you double bag it our local council tip has a special skip you can put it into or just get a small skip from a registered waste carrier. Replacement Corregated sheets are a tenner a pop. Total pain in the arse for a moments slip but thats how it goes. Get the insurance in and they defo will get a £££££ firm in.
  13. just replace the roof with new sheets, its dirt cheap and you could do in a morning.
  14. Not your tree, not your problem. ‘The encroachment of the boughs and roots over and within the land of the adjoining owner is not a trespass or occupation of that land which by lapse of time could become a right. It is a nuisance.
  15. I can see a loader wouldnt be much cop on a digger (3 tonner) its fine.
  16. have the same including the grinder. It literally chews the stump to bits nice and slowly so safe and easily controllable.

    Overloaded

Could be a tad over there Mr Pikey
  18. bang on not enough housing. Too many people here is why, deport 100,000 a week until the prices comes down. Start with the 50.2% who are net spongers on the state.
  19. really good company to deal with as well, small firm but bed over backwards to help. Their scandi style buckets are equally as good as our engcon supplied ones at half the cost.
  20. for knocking in stackes - loads. Whats a good one thats easy to level up etc ?
  21. how about a small duck - best of both worlds.
  22. Adding the grading beam to the ever growing list of attachments for the 3 tonner and I see the nice guys at BMC have a 4-in-1 bucket. If I didnt have a grab already that would be a really good comprimse. 4 in 1 bucket 2 – 25 Ton – The Bucket Manufacturing Company BMC-BUCKETS.CO.UK
  23. the value is pegged to the blockchain. Worth is subjective.
  24. id be looking at a 8 x 4 sheets of steel mesh then clamping the welder to them to cover much larger areas in one hit. Obviously its going to kill eveything but would be loads quicker. Could drag it behind a quad bike or something to speed the process up and carry the genny. from the specs its driving by an 8.5kva genny so i would guess 30a @ 240v then stepped up to high voltage using the box. Does it say on it anywhere exactly what the voltage is ?
  25. Sorry got to add it is electricide. Lots of current through stem and roots to kill plant could use a welder to do the same I guess, earth clipped to a ground stakke and live slipped to end of hoe. Wooden handle of course. Bet is takes bloody ages though on a patch of nettles...
