  1. HMRC decide what your stopped as I said earlier. good record of paying tax and can demonstrate high 4 figures in the bank and you will get 0% no problem.
  2. Should glabal warming really exist, and im not convinced. If you boil it all down there is too many people on the planet. Before electric everyone burned fossil fuels for cooking/heating. We do the same now but more efficiently. Is any of this going to change ? No.
  3. just think of it as your hard earned tax being given to feckless scum to watch sky tv in their free house. Labour is great.... I try not.
  4. cant reclaim the vat on their bills either......
  5. as a main contractor i get this a lot. People who do regular work for builders and have a few quid in the bank are mostly on 0% CIS. Most though on 20% which means HMRC dont trust you to pay your tax in full and ontime. It really doesnt matter to me as the bill is the same irrespective, the subbie gets to borrow the tax man some cash. I know a sparky who had a £15k fine for repeatedly putting everything down as materials thinking he was somehow getting one over on the taxman. He thought wrong.
  6. they dont need gas all electric. they are a different tool than a gas gone as they do have a lot of recoil. A lot heavier as well. You know youve done a day putting ceiling joist noggings in with one thats for sure.

I've had s shotty cert since I was 15. Age is nothing to do with it, if you have a need and can justify it and as long as they have no reason to say your a nutjob lunatic then you will be granted one. Whether an individual plod likes you or not is irrelevant.
  10. Have the pas im350 and dewalt electric first fix. Both are not the right tool for closebaord fencing runs me think, too heavy, nails too expensive for qty applications and 50mm min size is too long. So what does everyone else use to shoot 38mm stainless ring shanked ? Looking like compressor time..
  11. if the tree is accidentally killed by plant, geniune mistake. fine paid. everyone happy. your in dreamland if you think plod would prosecute POCO for a bloody tree!
  12. cut down. pay paltry if any fine.
  13. if your every over to the emerald isle for a shandy or 2, when you come back these chaps have a stall in the airport. Best sausage and offell you will ever taste. https://www.clonakiltyblackpudding.ie/
  14. paddy white pudding has a good peppery kick to it. no big lumps of fat either. lovely.
  15. the irish black pudding is far superior. They use grain in it. lovely.
  16. lightest trailer than can take a full 3 ton payload legally is the Indespension Alumax. 580kg naked. Lovely to tow as well. http://www.indespension.co.uk/home/2124-alumax-lightweight-plant-trailer.html#
  17. too small to be usefull. Stupid price as well.
  18. the muck truck you HAVE to hold the lever down as its dead mans handle for just this reason. Yours not have one ? It also looks like it has a much smaller capacity that a muck truck max. hope you feel better soon .
  19. Iveco daily.
  20. cut it off 6 foot from the ground then push it over with a digger. If only a small digger then will have to dig around it a bit as they do set them deep.
  21. nothing better boyo
  22. Takehome would be around £27k. Lets not beat about the bush this isn't going to make anyone rich. But its not at all bad either for manual work. You would want holiday pay as well as your going to be an employee not a subbie as far as tax man is concerned IR35. employer would stand around 4.5k of NIC Now compare that to running your on ltd co and having the same amount of profit to take out the business. on £39k profit Your PAYE salary will be your tax code/allowance of £12k you will pay £411 NIC and £2k dividend tax taking home £37.5k Now pay £7.4k of corp tax and you are clear about £3k for all the hassle of running a 1 man band business and not forgetting no holiday pay.
  23. The reason tax law is so complicated is the scum in parliament who make the laws have never worked a real job where you get your hands dirty in their life. So they have no life experience. A bit like school teachers who leave school, goto uni and then straight back to school to 'teach'. No wonder the kids today are turning out like they are. Same with the 6th form socialists who think there is a magic money tree. always whining about 'austerity' and how we should be spending more on X, when we borrow billions every month as the tax take doesn't cover the monthly UK bill. What do the mentally fucked in the head Labour want to do ? Increase the tax to make sure they take a lot less of it, thats how retarded they are. And as for the conservatives, they are simple labour with bigger personal bank balances. Real Conservatives would be scrapping 'yuman rights' for the criminal, cracking down hard on the feckless dole scroungers, giving 10 years hard labour to thieves who steal a working mans tools and hanging the 'asian' pedo gangs by the score.
  24. go ltd. lend the company £14k to buy the van off you. company buys van (V5 in ltd co name) pays you back the 14k you just lent. Company now has a 14k debt on the books. Repay this before taking any earnings above your tax code. £11k ish. Repeat for all your tools, gear, computer etc anything business related. Same for a portion of heat, power from h ouse for running a home office. If you go vat registered and can find receipts you can claim back VAT on purchases upto 7 years ago.
  25. so to some up. A private person, who's probably worked bloody hard to buy a second home to rent out as they are maybe self employed and will rely on it for a pension, chose not to sell you a service as you were too risky a proposition and im guessing wouldn't pass referencing. I get the feeling we are only hearing your side of the 'rent suddenly gone up by £300' story.
