Hi All, I need to get a 3ton digger and 1ton dumper in my rear garden to do some landscaping and to dig out some old tree roots. I know that I can use the machinery on my own land. But my house is set back about 100m from the main road and the only way to access it is over the public footpaths. I will need to do multiple trips over the pathways will spoil and rubbish with both the digger and dumper. Do I need any sort of licence or does the council need to know before I go ahead and do this? What are your views? Thanks Toby
