  1. Conifer hedges can be the worst. Quoted 1 day on topping out some connies for the mother of the farmer where I had a yard 20 years ago. 4 hideous days later I had just about finished, and she still didn’t like it!
  2. Check out the Arbtalkers Arbtrucks thread, plenty to chew on there.
  3. Chainsaws running full chat for hours on end isn’t a pleasant noise.

I started pricing low, most do. I’m still around.
  5. Looking at that bent out of shape hopper puts me in mind of Katie Price.
  6. Till you can find another.
  7. The old “let’s all put our prices up, then everything will be ok” Ok, you first mate.
  8. The problem with the long bars on the 2511 is when they’re hopped up it’s easy to cook the engine on a long cut (according to a tuner on another forum)
  9. 130 crew cab is listed as 2100kg.
  10. I’ll bear it in mind, thanks for the info.
  11. I’m guessing so, I certainly haven’t changed it.
  12. Lawson cypress i reckon, or thuja, probably thuja the more I look at it.
  13. Hi Ben, wow! life really bowled you a bouncer didn’t it? Good luck with the recovery.
  14. Well yes and no (and I’m yet to get to the bottom of it) I have found the power loss on oversize tyres quite significant. Edit: poked about a bit on the web, it seems any tyre wheel combos have to be an approved size by the manufacturer.
  15. I wanted BFG all terrains, but ended up with General Grabbers. The Mud Terrains are too much on the road IME. Theres a law here now saying you cannot fit bigger/wider wheels/tyres than standard to you vehicle so that takes the decision out of my hands.
  16. More like a low rent Glen Hoddle in short shorts, but I’ll take Tarzan if it’s offered.
  17. Me in Jerusalem feb 85.
  18. Posted elsewhere but thought I’d bump this thread. My 110td5 pick up is nearly there, just waiting on the wheel arch extensions. It’ll be stage one mapped for modern motoring, winch on the front, bit of sign writing and off we go. It is a thing of beauty.
