  1. Big plane tree, shame it had to come out.
  2. He bloody hated it! Literally would run away from it towards the Ranger if I tried to take it.
  3. Dogs in trucks you say? Ah gwan then!
  4. Interesting to see the volume on that l200 tipper. If it’s more than 2m cube (usable) I’d be surprised.
  5. Anywhere in the EU is going to be problematic if you only hold a British passport.
  6. It was a foul, he was booked. We were not without sin, Sterling (our best player for a number of years) dived a bit. Best team won. Let’s get on with our pointless lives and forget about any sliver of joy we may have briefly experienced.
  7. A grand minimum for the two, plus vat, and don’t give me any bollocks about keeping anything over 3” diameter. If it fits in the chipper, it goes in the chipper.
  8. I was actually trying to come across as sneery.
  9. Nobody knows why it happens, we know when and what species are susceptible. I’d suggest until we can come up with some sort of explanation you should hold fire on the corporate speak sneering and numbers on a RA. If I was the owner of a public space with a large spready oak I wouldn’t be setting up picnic tables underneath.
  10. The Multione ones have cheese for upper tines, and the bottom ones are too long for tree work, had to shorten them.
  11. Trouble with muck grabs is that if the tines aren’t hardened you can bend the buggers easy as pie.
  12. Bit of a clearance job, chipping, felling, shifting, grinding, all the good stuff in one package.
  13. In France Road Closed means ‘road might be closed, do you feel lucky?’
  14. No one knows, least of all @Steve Bullman who was braiding the girls hair at break time, instead of playing footy with the lads.
  15. It was drawn out of a hat! Whaddya youse people want! England were a top seed because of their record, no mystery. They beat the Germans the Czechs the Croats and the Danes and will have to beat Italy if they’re to win it, the French and the Cloggys blew it on their own. For a European competition that sounds about right. Should we have to beat Brazil and Argentina as well to make you happy?
  16. The ball is still in play, the game is still going, a defender could have got to it and cleared it just as easily. In a shoot out the game has finished, it would be unworkable to let the penalty taker continue trying. Theres a number of vids (that I can’t post) of goalies celebrating a miss by the taker in a shoot out, only to see the ball spin back into the goal. Can someone post one to explain please?
  17. The penalty was harsh, but the two players on Sterling were clumsy. As Roy Keane said once “they gave the ref the opportunity to blow the whistle” He is very clever at being fouled, they are fouls, it’s not fabrication (most of the time) He gets his team up the pitch, he is often isolated up front on his own, it’s the defenders fault for not being smart enough. As a lone striker Drogba was the best I have seen at that.
  18. Pickford’s kicking will be targeted, woeful. Italians are good but not world beaters, Sterling our best attacking player as usual. Walker was superb.
