  1. Add it to the Tories if you like.
  2. First page on the BBC news website, after a hurricane in the US and Russia annexing some bits of the Ukraine. Not sure what more some people want
  3. Agreed, polls are if not meaningless, then transitory at best. But a new PM should really have a bit of momentum behind them. Bit of a dead cat bounce more like in this case.
  4. Like it or not, change is coming.
  5. That’s a depiction of the Vikings attacking Lindisfarne, I remember reading about it as a kid. Sealed their reputation as a bad lot, even a thousand years later it is still a bit shocking.
  6. I think if the guy put pictures up and followed up a bit, the thread would have retained a bit of purpose after initial interest. I suppose if he’s not that fussed, neither is anyone else.
  7. New new to the internet?
  8. Pavement isn’t a description it’s a noun. Maybe sidewalk is a better word than pavement, but footway isn’t a word at all.
  9. Moonbats out in force I see.
  10. Just a fwiw. I had a breakdown on the forward rollers on my 485ex, local ag dealers too busy, and even if they did have time they tend to take forever as the machine is alien to them. On the blower to Dave at Overland who spent time thinking and going through the possibilities with me. left me 4 or 5 things to check, I go through them and find that one of the control buttons isn’t working right (not on/offing with each press) so I bypass it and it works a treat. All on a machine they never sold me, in a different country, and me being an idiot and everything. After service is key, make it a factor in your purchases.
  11. Seeing this laughable slice of fan fiction posted up. The image of Britain sailing off into sunnier climes and calmer waters.
  12. It’s an ill wind that blows nobody any good.
  13. I don’t say it was shit because of the pound dollar situation, I just pointed it out as a factor. But, fair question. The reality of the loss of freedom of movement and working for Brits in Europe. More difficult for UK businesses to trade in Europe. No stopping of illegal immigration since. NHS even worse than before. Promised trade deals with the US not materialising. The possibility of the UK breaking up. Jacob Rees Mog.
  14. Jonny Kwango’s mum was a resident at my mate’s mums old peoples home. lovely bloke, used to allow two 11 year olds (me and my mate) to take him on in a wrestling match. He didn’t break a drop of sweat fending us off and throwing us away!
  15. @kevinjohnsonmbe You got nothing have you? (not even an understanding of the word tangible😀) You hang your coat on some distant imaginary event that you hope will happen just to avoid facing what right in front of your nose. I was wrong about Brexit, I see that now. One day you will I’m sure
  16. Tangible benefits Kevin if you please..
  17. So what tangible benefits have you seen?
  18. I wonder if you’ll feel the same when Scotland leaves the UK and Northern Ireland. I see the pound has hit a new low against the dollar. Hows that UK/US trade deal coming along? How many people have crossed the channel in little boats this year 20/30 thousand? Getting our borders back are we?
  19. I wasn’t expecting immediate benefits, I was expecting it to be a bit less of a series of cockups and loss of freedoms than its proven to be.
  20. Let’s be straight about it, no amount of cartoons can disguise the reality that Brexit was a mistake. I was marginally for it, now have to concede it was a massive error. What’s done is done, no going back, but what a clanger got dropped that day.
  21. Thoughts and prayers for Joe at this difficult time..
  22. So under warranty the TW dealers disabled the stress control?
