  1. No decent boss would schedule any significant work on planes at this time of year, excepting emergency stuff.
  2. Good work. Not for me as I said, but love a bit of hustle.
  3. Some people supplement their income like this, cars, quads and motorbikes etc. I just hate the whole process of selling stuff, putting an ad up, answering questions, dealing with dreamers, meeting potential buyers, haggling, then filling out paperwork. I avoid it where possible.
  4. That’s a cathedral.
  5. A while back we were working away from home and the accommodation was not equipped very well. No glasses so my evening wine drinking had an unusual twist.
  6. You’ll lose a lot of water like that, better to have a very slow/trickle so the water stays in the soil around the tree.
  7. It may have been mentioned before, is it possible to remove the trees behind to get a view of whatever the mountain is behind? Are they your trees?
  8. To answer your concerns. Sandwiches is what you should be eating, or bread based snacks. Crisps as a side dish. I drink Yorkshire tea. Peppermint tea! (Shakes head mournfully)
  9. Nadine not taking it well.
  10. Just saw Steve Baker being interviewed on the green. Impressive and organised. Worth a fiver.
  11. Ooooooh, fresh coffee at work! Check out Derek Zoolander (he’s so hot right now!)
  12. No it’s the best! No milk though, black tea is my day drink. Leave the teabag in and fill it with boiling water and off you go. I can’t stand all this bringing of bits and bobs, t bags, milk, sugar, cuppasoups. Almost as bad as those sickos who bring Tupperware boxes of last nights stinky dinner and eat it with a plastic fork. They want shooting.
  13. Very common here, a real pleasure to see in the UK.
  14. I think I’m more annoyed because I really believed in him.
  15. I genuinely feel sad for nearly every prime minister when or if it all comes tumbling down, Brown, Major, Heath, Callaghan, Thatcher and Cameron. People who followed their beliefs and tried to make a difference as they saw it. Didn’t like some, glad to see the back of others. I have zero compassion for this lying POS. He deserves no sympathy, and every knife in the back he gets is merited.
  16. I would have thought the Visa thing has been in the planning for months if not years. Too late to pull it now.
  17. That CTE230 looks like brilliant tool.
  18. Rotten run of luck, glad the kiddo is ok. (and everyone else of course)
  19. Not a twist I foresaw, but I’ll run with it.
  20. He’s dead Stubs, no happy ending. An ignominious end to a life that started so well but a series of poor choices (he bought a Forst) led to a sordid death in a shabby hostel. Happily the wife is a bit of a sort and found love with a Warrington bus driver. Life finds a way.
  21. Britain chose poorly
  22. Rishi and Javid. 48 hours I reckon.
