  1. @nepia this from a couple of years back.
  2. Reasonably common, I see them regularly cross crossing the fields at this time of year. I will say that I’m fairly confident they’re hen and not marsh harriers. The males are almost gull like in colour, barn owl like in the way they scan the fields.
  3. Wasn’t concentrating today, Hen Harrier encounter. Too late though!
  4. Those are good ones, beautiful bird, a bit silly, rarely sits and poses for photos.
  5. Joys of a Landrover? Not yet, just finished the spraying. Pics soon. Leaks on new loader and problem with the Ranger. No biggy but slows us down a lot.
  6. I have a number of machines/véhicules being repaired atm, so am a bit idle. Complicating things is exactly what I’m looking to do.
  7. Osteopaths or chiropractor. keep looking till you find one that can help.
  8. Maybe, curious that the leaves on the ‘shady’ side haven’t opened compared to the other side. Be good to get another picture/perspective.
  9. Could be phototropism caused by the large tree that’s throwing shadow in the picture. What time of day was the photo taken?
  10. I prefer the ‘running them over with my tractor mower until they rot away and look like dog turds’ method. Less picking up involved.
  11. You want the moon on a stick. Go and buy a new 160.
  12. I can’t stand apples on my lawn so I do this every 3 years or so. No point mucking about, it’ll look lovely by July.
  13. “Newer the better” well you don’t get much newer than new. Money is cheap atm. Go see your bank.
  14. What are they new? Why not get a new one?
  15. Nice vid Don, friction device had a lucky escape?
  16. I’d remove the top 1/3 ie. The V Clearly it has been re.re.re reduced a few times, they’ve tried to leave sap pullers/gone back to live growth, very important on birch. Seen a lot worse.
  17. I’d go for this sort to avoid losing chip space.
  18. All a bit needlessly hostile to the OP imo.
