  1. I remember when Steve Hislop broke the 120mph barrier. To think the bikes are that much quicker again is mind blowing.
  2. Nice one Mr Egg. You reap what you sow. 👍👍
  3. Great selection of mogs. 👍 Came across this today. My Mrs rolled her eyes.
  4. Marlow venom 11:8mm on zigzag.. Now I've got used to its bounce I'm liking it. Couldn't stand it at first.
  5. We run all our machinery on this. There is a noticeable difference in how clean and how well everything runs on it. I know it seems pricey but I recon it's paid for itself by the savings made on downtime and repairs. Having suffered problems through guys mis-fuelling or using cheap oil and stale fuel in saws in the past, it has removed a lot of potential hassle for us. 👍👍
  6. But the Amarok only has a food mixer engine in it. Plastic EU underpowered under engineered crap! My mum just bought a Citroen DS3 sport, I thought it looked a nice car until she told me it has a 1.1 engine 🙄
  7. A Zillon replacement strop comes with one eye on it and one plain end. Once you have threaded it onto the Zillon you are meant to tie a figure 8 stopper at the plain end and heat shrink a small plastic tube over the knot to seal it in place.
  8. Nice vid Paul. Going to go and visit it soon.
  9. Amazing video. Inspirational work. Thanks for taking the trouble to put it together 😎
  10. Nothing boring about that video!
  11. Don't be ridiculous..... They use maillons
  12. The top links on the Mk 3 are beefier. If you search this forum for "oh no not another zigzag" you should be able to compare the Mk 2 to yours. If it is a mk3 then it is the first one to crack that I have heard of. It sounds like you've ended up with a Mk2 somehow.
  13. Thanks for this. They are our own trees so I will be able to have a really good look before removing the ivy. 👍
  14. Hi Paul. Thanks. I'm really well. Sorry I'm not able to attend the show this year it's really hectic this end. Gutted really as last year was excellent. Cheers for the info and hope everything goes well 👍👍 Timon
  15. Anyone know what the law says about stripping ivy off trees that are protected? Do I need to apply for permission or is it work that does not need to be declared? I'm not really interested in a debate about wether people agree with stripping ivy of trees or not, just what the legal position is 😇 Many thanks in advance! Timon
  16. Nicely executed job! Very graceful. We seem to get a lot of "through the house" jobs and there isn't that much difference to dragging through a garden gate if the truth be told. We always get the customer to agree to a disclaimer first. We'll be careful but any damage is their liability. Nice work Ben.
  17. Mick looks like he's worth his weight in gold there Bob. 👍
  18. 😂😂😂😂😂!!! Enjoyed watching that Jessie.
  19. Carcassonne. Simple game but quite entertaining without being too addictive. I think it's named after a town down your neck of the woods as well 🙂
  20. Thanks..... Are the other bits worth anything to anyone?
  21. Got our MS261 back from the dealers and although it was still running (to his amazement) he said the crank and bearings had gone. £190 for the crank + labour and vat so that's going to cost £300 ish to put it right. Does anyone know of a better alternative to get it going again?
  22. I've got one of those Edelrid Rocka friction savers and only the smallest of factory spliced or sewn eyes will go through the small end.
  23. Congratulations Paul. You must be on cloud nine mate, 🙂
  24. I don't know about the larger artic tractors but we've got a small Goldoni two wheeled tractor fitted with a rotavator and it is really well made. Far surpasses anything else I've ever used.
  25. Go on Willy! An inspiration and an encouragement. It's seems like 50 is the new 30. Is that your camper in aspen blue, Bob? (Or horse box)
