My guess would be the burner hasn’t got hot enough to burn all the newness off. Im only going on the fact the wall paper next to it is still intact, our burner would of set light to it long ago 🤔

Unfortunately you can’t get a weaver in England any more. I started out with weavers, now in tm. They are a cracking harness with good back support. I seem to remember they are hand stitched by the Amish.

Ours gets all mixed up, a mix of woods we find is best to get the best out of it.

Tough plastic tray with handles. these are good with the waterproof canvas lid, can happily carry a full rigging kit on your shoulder. A rigging rope will run out under the lid if it’s wet and as a added bonus they can be up turned over Mrs miggings shrub so it looks like you agree the manky thing is a excellent example! cheap as well.

I would of thought that by depositing there waste soil from there ditch they are in effect fly tipping. Also if they have damaged your tree on your land it could be seen as criminal damage unless the damaged roots have crossed the boundary and been damaged in the process of maintaining there ditch on there land (encroachment) in which case I reckon you would be wasting your time. im sure someone will give you a proper answer rather than my un qualified thoughts. However one farm I know of did win a fly tipping case where old compost had been repeatedly tipped over a fence, I don’t know of the finer details tho.

I would put hazel on par with beech or apple, it’s well up there for heat output. Cracking firewood, I will save hazel smaller than most woods, it’s normally relatively straight and easy to process which is a bonus

I’ve only used older carltons so not a fair comparison. Predator, fsi, Carlton and bandit all have there fans, there all have good and not so good points. look at what they all have and decide what suits you best. If you don’t want tracks I would strongly advise getting a turntable like the predator 460 your back will thank you.

I’ve used the adapter from the stein rake heads to make other tools up if that helps? No window licking stuff tho so can’t help with that side of it. stein and Jameson poles are interchangeable 👍

I’ve been chuckling to myself over this thread because I’ve not had a barrow puncture in a long long time. Karma being the bitch it is, has bit me in the arse and I got a bloody puncture in the barrow yesterday 😢

Do you lot over the water on the north island get the greys coming to see what your doing in there tree? I’ve had the reds run down my climbing line once but quite regularly see them in the tree, normally when on a gap in rigging waiting for the ground crew to do there bit so I’m just stopped for a couple of min, or on a tip end silky job.

We are so lucky not to have greys over here. It’s very rare to see squirrel damage from the reds! when I was on the mainland as a kid we used to put peanut butter on a board to attract the greys then shoot them with a air rifle 👍😂

Are the fins good on the flywheel? If the fins were bad the earlier machines soon lost there throw. I can’t comment on the newer Timberwolf machines from experience

No saw boots. No tickets. Need a board to cut up on. I know we all started at the bottom of the ladder but really? People wonder why this industry is going down hill 🤦♂️ The sooner you have to have basic tickets to be able to buy or even pick a saw up the better,
