  1. Plant to the previous soil level.
  2. I’ve used the adapter from the stein rake heads to make other tools up if that helps? No window licking stuff tho so can’t help with that side of it. stein and Jameson poles are interchangeable 👍
  3. I’ve been chuckling to myself over this thread because I’ve not had a barrow puncture in a long long time. Karma being the bitch it is, has bit me in the arse and I got a bloody puncture in the barrow yesterday 😢
  4. Do you lot over the water on the north island get the greys coming to see what your doing in there tree? I’ve had the reds run down my climbing line once but quite regularly see them in the tree, normally when on a gap in rigging waiting for the ground crew to do there bit so I’m just stopped for a couple of min, or on a tip end silky job.
  5. We are so lucky not to have greys over here. It’s very rare to see squirrel damage from the reds! when I was on the mainland as a kid we used to put peanut butter on a board to attract the greys then shoot them with a air rifle 👍😂

Are the fins good on the flywheel? If the fins were bad the earlier machines soon lost there throw. I can’t comment on the newer Timberwolf machines from experience
  7. The birth of the battery angry grinder has made security a big bit harder.
  8. I think a few would like to see that! @Scottish Cleaning Service do tell if you do in fact have tickets?
  9. My first thought was ash and willow. But I reckon alder and holly as per the comments are probably closer
  10. No saw boots. No tickets. Need a board to cut up on. I know we all started at the bottom of the ladder but really? People wonder why this industry is going down hill 🤦‍♂️ The sooner you have to have basic tickets to be able to buy or even pick a saw up the better,

    Jokes???

Not sure it’s at home in the joke thread but a very well written piece 👍
  12. About half way between the two of us then 👍
  13. Is that not the point to stop the weeds? It puts it all the nitrogen back and more in a couple of months time. I would of thought at a year old you will be almost spreading compost and encouraging the weeds 🤔 conifer chip is fairly acidic and can help adjust the soil ph in that direction so a customer tells me, never tested the results so I can’t confirm this.
  14. Don’t sell your self short. There is to many in this industry that get into the race to the bottom mindset. You want to work to earn not work to ruin yourself! A trial day is one thing but don’t let people take the piss out of you. Good luck.
  15. Local Authority Treescapes Fund - GOV.UK WWW.GOV.UK Find out about the Local Authority Treescapes Fund and how to apply for funding to increase tree planting and natural regeneration in local communities in England. Could be something interesting, but I wouldn’t mind betting that by the time the funds filter down it will almost all be spend on admin
  16. We’re they the ones with a extra spike that extended when you stamped on them?
  17. I concede, I was going to reply but finding a wity come back has failed me 🤔 That has got to be best retort I’ve seen for some time 👍 🤣
  18. That harness makes me think your into bdsm
  19. The number refers to weight iirc. they run fine on this 👍 Hydraulic Oil 46 25 Litre - £48.00 Delivered WWW.RYEOIL.CO.UK Hydraulic Oil 46 made from highly refined base stocks which have good resistance lowering the possibility of gums which would stop working parts.
  20. Thought these were interesting, not often you get to see the root structure we came across them while wondering along a beach, come over with a cliff fall at some point.
  21. It’s about time bees are protected seeing as they are endangered and with out pollinators our out look is bleak. Fair play for asking to get it right
  22. I tend to leave the top in, but like most things in this game the plan constantly changes once you in the tree.
  23. You are right paddy but I think you missed the point/difference between cash in hand and “a cash buyer” - having the cleared funds ready to purchase the item in question
  24. I know the question wasn’t directed at me but we run similar terms. My answer would be: Only customers that would of been a pain in the arse and I don’t want them any way so it’s win win 👍
