    Jokes???

A husband takes his wife to play her first game of golf. Of course, the wife promptly hacked her first shot right through the window of the biggest house adjacent to the course. The husband cringed, 'I warned you to be careful! Now we'll have to go up there, find the owner, apologize and see how much your lousy drive is going to cost us.' So the couple walked up to the house and knocked on the door. A warm voice said, 'Come on in.' When they opened the door they saw the damage that was done: glass was all over the place, and a broken antique bottle was lying on its side near the pieces of window glass. A man reclining on the couch asked, 'Are you the people that broke my window?' 'Uh...yeah! , sir. We're sure sorry about that,' the husband replied. 'Oh, no apology is necessary. Actually I want to thank you.. You see, I'm a genie, and I've been trapped in that bottle for a thousand years. Now that you've released me, I'm allowed to grant three wishes. I'll give you each one wish, but if you don't mind, I'll keep the last one for my self.' Wow, that's great!' the husband said. He pondered a moment and blurted out, 'I'd like a million dollars a year for the rest of my life.' 'No problem,' said the genie 'You've got it, it's the least I can do. And I'll guarantee you a long, healthy life!' 'And now you, young lady, what do you want?' the genie asked. 'I'd like to own a gorgeous home in every country in the world complete with servants,' she said. 'Consider it done,' the genie said. 'And your homes will always be safe from fire, burglary and natural disasters!' 'And now,' the couple asked in unison, 'what's your wish, genie?''Well, since I've been trapped in that bottle, and haven't been with a woman in more than a thousand years, my wish is to have sex with your wife.' The husband looked at his wife and said, 'Gee, honey, you know we both now have a fortune, and all those houses. What do you think?' She mulled it over for a few moments and said, 'You know, you're right. Considering our good fortune, I guess I wouldn't mind, but what about you, honey?' You know I love you sweetheart,' said the husband. I'd do the same for you!' So the genie and the woman went upstairs where they spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying each other. The genie was insatiable. After about three hours of non-stop sex, the genie rolled over and looked directly into her eyes and asked, How old are you and your husband?' 'Why, we're both 35,' she responded breathlessly. 'No Kidding,' he said. 'Thirty-five years old and you both still believe in genies?
  2. Cut a ring off and split it, the colour difference between the sap and hart wood may help I’d it.
  3. @AA Teccie (Paul) may be able to help with the correct answer! I had a lad ring for work that had moved from the states, he was in the process of doing uk nptc tickets so I guess they don’t interchange easily, good luck with it.

    Jokes???

Artic monkeys, the eagles, smashing pumpkins, radio head, the police, the pet shop boys and shed seven was all I found. I’m not Sure the pet shop boys can be classed as a band?
  7. Hope your all ok, bet you need to claim for a new pair of pants after that one! You could be able to get a new cab, we had one rolled on a farm years ago, insurance company had a new cab and panel work on it. if you get it back check the wheel studs, I know of two tractors that had been hit, (nothing as hard as your looks like) one from the side and one head on both had a wheel come adrift a few days later.
  8. Is the spool gun any good for welding Ally? I’ve not tried one
  9. Bloody good welders, stand the test of time as well.👍
  10. Just looked it up on YouTube, possibly better than a mattock but save a bit more and go bigger engine you won’t regret it, a 13hp grinder is hard work I would imagine 6hp would be painfull. Have a look at the rock ones if you want small and cheap people say there good value But I’ve not used one. 11. If you need more than one machine (second saw or hedge cutter etc) the battery options can work out more cost effective as you already have your batteries and charger. We use some battery kit and have noticed the saving on fuel which also helps off sets the cost. There great for the right things but won’t replace a bigger saw but you said you have that. A full battery is will last longer than a tank on the equivalent petrol saw as it doesn’t sit idling when not cutting The lack of noise and fumes in my nose is the driving factor for me over environmental side, some say mining the lithium for the batteries causes as much damage as burning petrol, just moving the problem from our back yard. I’m not sure I’m qualified to answer that argument, so will leave it there.
  12. The predator 38 is a completely different league from the 460. The 460 is a capable machine mind. If you can afford to look at radio control, makes getting close to fences etc much easier as you can move to see what you are doing.
  13. The predator is 70 cm unless you go for the big one! That 4 cm can be a lot when your stuck at the garden gate 🤔
  14. Watch the home oak doesn’t take over, it spreads like wild fire over here
  15. How close is the copy @Pete B ? I ask as we will soon need a set of blades sharpened for a copy (we needed the tracks) and wondered if a greenmech dealer could do them? It’s no great problem if not just easier to deal with someone that has a clue what your talking about 👍 Our local place looked confused when I said they also have a angle ground on the back side 🤦‍♂️
  16. You would need to submit an application to your local (to the tree) planning authority. You will need to provide evidence (probably a tree survey by a Suitably qualified person) that the tree is causing structural damage
  17. How wide is the Jo Beau? I thought the Predators were the narrowest on the market, I’m possibly out of date tho.
  18. Don’t discredit the Predator machines. They are narrower than most others and go deeper than the bandit and up beau if I remember rightly, not sure about the others. The service back up for us has been second to none from predator, they would have to seriously drop the ball for us to move to another brand.
  19. Goodyear wrangler duratrac are a cracking at tyre and better than bfg on tarmac and in the sticky stuff
  20. The Greenmech (or other brand drum style) will wipe the floor with the Timberwolf as long as it’s kept sharp. Gravity fed drum chippers like the cs100 are great chippers, gravity fed disk chippers like the Timberwolf are crap in comparison to use, but will get you there in the end. Both types will not cope with soil and roots or old fencing etc with nails in (that might be obvious but I’ve seen some random stuff put in chippers).
  21. We used to have a bonser forklift the clutch used to stick on quite regular if it was left. We used to drive it slowly into the straw heap, the clutch would pop off as soon as it struggled to push the heap!
  22. Where are you? A location may well get you some local recommendations. quoting from pictures is a mugs game, almost everyone any good will want to come and have a look before giving a quote.
  23. leave your fone in your pocket while working! Arborventure training in the newforest might not be to far away for any training you decide on. There a cracking bunch and come highly recommended Arbor Venture Training Arboriculture Courses and Assessments ARBORVENTURE.CO.UK
  24. I’ve used one, for about a hour from a picker basket. I reckon it’s about to same as a 201 cutting speed wise. As a bonus it’s got a 3/8p chain which compared to the small battery saws is easy to sharpen.
