  1. I’ve got a loncin engine and it’s been no bother, starts on second or 3rd pull even if it’s been left for 6 month or more. It’s got to be best part of 5 yr old and never had any maintenance past a oil change and spark plug wire brushed off and tapped on the concrete or had a combo spanner jammed in it to set the gap!
  2. That was a bright idea 💡
  3. It’s no surprise, the bloke is as camp as a row of tents.

    Jokes???

@Rich Rule don’t worry your not the only one! I’ve managed to never watch startrek and don’t feel any need to start now 👍
  5. Full time but self employed with there own insurance? When the sticky brown stuff hits the spin you thing on the ceiling your going to get well covered in it!
  6. So most/half of the crew is unqualified? And half of what is left is only part time? Apart from the kit and stock the only other thing that holds any value is any fixed contracts that pay £x for x period of time. By selling these you are in effect subbing the contract out and this can bite you down the road of the work is not up to standard/on time etc. Check your contract carefully first and seek advice from a legal pro if your not sure. unfortunately your reputation is just, that it’s yours not mine, not Dave’s from the pub and ultimately not who ever buys your name. A limited company that can operate with you or a different director at the helm has a value but putting a value on that can be hard, I have been told some work on 10% of turnover (plus assets) to value a company that could carry on with any owner but don’t quote me on that figure. I didn’t mean to come across harsh but reality can be just that unfortunately. Edit: the climber coming from London will have no digs when you go so is next to useless to a new owner -sorry.
  7. I would like to see the stats on the conviction rates as well before answering the question, how ever I’m leaning towards the latter answer
  8. 201 rear handle has the best power to weight ratio by a country mile. Cracking saws.
  9. Cyder makes the world go round (along with ice cream)
  10. 40ft deep gravel? Customer must have enough coin to pay for helicopter extraction 🤐🤣
  11. Most agricultural dealers will find you something. Be prepared to know what gear ratio you want.
  12. I would go higher quality/hp but second hand for similar money if you can find one.
  13. The earlier folding stein catapult was crap and didn’t last me over a year, the big shot has done me years and isn’t really showing signs of giving up. That said I can’t comment on the new stein offering on display here as I’ve not tried it.
  14. Is copying not the highest form of flattery?
  15. Is it cheap enough to still be cheap if at worst case you had to throw a couple of grand for a new body if it all goes south? If not walk away. There will be another along shortly. 4x4 tipper get a hard life, I would also look at non tippers and get a body built. ive just found it on eBay, the state of the drivers seat compared to the mileage I would say it’s had a hard life.
  16. We call buffing the top a back scratcher 👍

  18. Hadn’t looked at it from that angle 🤔👍
  19. Is the rock of Gibraltar not still part of the uk?
  20. Sounds like a good chance for a young un wanting to see a bit of the world 👍
  21. You are right but That’s bugger all to do with me and IMO completely irrelevant to someone selling a bit of kit and someone that could possibly of been interested. Also why does it need constantly dragging up that a few folk got roudy and the landlord took the ball away till they had grown up?
  22. @trigger_andy was talking about wanting one a while back.
  23. Wow I’ve only seen a single tree or a few yards of hedge
  24. I’ve seen similar but never to that scale.
  25. Hammer a bit of rebar through it and knock the middle out, should stop it blocking up! edit: this was tongue in cheek before any eco vegans are offended!
