  1. You got some cracking kit here @Ian Flatters that in its self makes life easier 👍😎
  2. We had a 2005 (the bubble arch one) shogun for a few year, cracking truck. Averaging mid 20s with a mix of local work and towing. High 20s to 30 on a good mainland run. If it was just towing all week it would be down to 16-17mpg ( I do drive with a quite a heavy right foot) We only got rid as the gearbox went bang and we were to busy to repair it. I had a 2002 L200 briefly the fuel consumption was really bad and the turning circle was about the same as a container ship. Hated the bloody thing.
  3. Definitely not a uk number plate on the cars either. I was looking in the same direction as @Stubby as the what it is, shortly followed by I reckon that’s a straight fell across yard towards the cars 🤔
  4. If it was a fence panel or a pane of glass in the green house you would ask for it to be replaced so why not the plastic grass? If the contractor decides to take it on the chin or claim on the insurance is there decision. Good luck getting sorted.
  5. a row of 70-80ft pops was my worst one, soooooo much stuff the rake up 🤦‍♂️
  6. Some walnut local to us are just starting as well, we are normally slightly ahead most springs but not this year.

    Stihl 011av

For any of you that collect old saws I thought this looked in good nick: Stihl chainsaw and case WWW.WIGHTBAY.COM Stihl 011AV with hard plastic case. 2 length bars. See pictures. Last used over 5 years ago so will need a service! Was working well then. Never been used commercially. I’ve got no connection to it or clue what one of that vintage is worth but thought it may interest someone
  8. Stubbings are a nice bunch
  9. I’ve not seen a wild hedgehog for a few years, little tw*t wants more than a bloody good slap.
  10. BE has more than paid for it’s self so can’t really complain
  11. I already have BE so it’s a double cost to upgrade C1E, typically 🤔
  12. @Justme if you already have the 3.5ton towing on a car licence then do the 7.5t licence can you still tow the 3.5t with a 7.5 or does that come back to class 1?
  13. At the start of the first vid it looked like the crane leg was sat in the bird bath 🤪 nice job 👍😎
  14. If your request is sensible and not going to spoil the trees then yes. Get your tree team to do the application, you may get a better result - the tree officer should know them and there standard of work over the home owner who may decide to do the work to a diy standard. Get two or three quotes from local tree teams by recommendation they will give you a better idea of what would be given permission in person.

    Uses for pasture

Does it have to stay as pasture? 4 acre would make a good market garden supplying high end organic veg via a farm shop. It’s a job in its self tho.

    Uses for pasture

6-10 sheep to the acre won’t make it all year round with out winter feed. This takes away the low maintenance. Lower numbers that lamb every year gives higher numbers when the grass is growing and low numbers when it’s not is better as a hobby. It’s never going to be majorly profitable on 4 acre

    Uses for pasture

4-6 plus their lambs would be a good start, be prepared to adjust numbers to find the sweet spot with your grass supply you will find some seasons will be short of grass and some good so fine tuning may take a little while

    Uses for pasture

Hebridean sheep. They are very very low maintenance, you will hardly ever have to trim a foot or lamb one they just get on and look after themselves. Treat for fly strike (prevention) and shear once a year is about it. They are excellent conservation grazers and will thrive on good grass or thorn/bramble scrub. If you want a better profit line find a farm with Dorset short horns to run your ewes with there ram you will get a bigger lamb
  19. Guessing your employed as your boss is paying for it. In which case you need no insurance, that’s the bosses problem. If you are testing independently as your own business you will want professional indemnity insurance.
  20. I wasn’t intending to belittle your efforts, just add a little humour. Are there any records of rough locations of the lost planes?
  21. It’s a ruler pictured with a random bit of steel, why over complicate things? 🤔🤪
  22. THe woodland mills one is much the same as the rock. It’s far better than a axe but don’t expect to do commercial quantities of logs.
  23. In the case of a crash not being your fault, once the copper thinks you are over weight and puts it on the weigh bridge it will be your fault for not being safe on the road and your insurance will laugh at you leaving you high and dry. don’t dismiss it as it won’t matter, it will be a expensive day evan of it wasn’t your fault
  24. Yes I’ve used them along side leaf springs, let down and it rides like it should and you can pump them up till it rides just the same when you “happen” to be over loaded. I found them much better than extra springs. You can also pump one side up more than he other to level a uneven load. I’ve not got that truck any more as I came to the conclusion all 3.5t trucks are a waste of time!
  25. Recheck the anvil gap, I’ve seen them twist so one end is wider than other when the first bolt is tightened.
