  1. How long is the wall, how much space, maybe a picture would help? What about Holm oak?
  2. Hi, I have some trees to get planted, these amongst them. I don't think the typical grafted fruit tree approach to planting is going to work here. If I was to leave the union several inches above the soil level I'd worry that when the trees mature into something sizeable it will be a weak point. Despite the supposed issues of bacteria/rot at the union if under the soil, personally I want to plant them with the graft union practically level to the ground or slightly under... Am I correct?
