    Mower rip off

Alot of reviewers saying they have being ripped off: https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.mowdirect.co.uk Company seems legit nice website etc but looks like there scammers.......
  2. Shipping cost is very cheap as % of total costs. https://www.raconteur.net/finance/high-sulphur-fuels-shipping New regs to try make it abit more green^.....
  3. Intetesting. I think the main impact to landscape will be loss of hegderow trees (ash the most common one locally) as woodland will regenerate other species replacing the ash, but the hegderow trees won't come back as any new trees are flailed. Thats want happened after dutch elm, massive reduction in number of hegderow trees, countryside just looks more bleak since with miles of hegdes with fewer trees along them.
  4. I want a sugi just coz they look cool. Speedcut is lighest with narrow kerf chain??
  5. Shame no one manges any of the hazel round here its all "overstood" suppose the economics just don't add up.
  6. Some reviews/infos here but not direct comparison have being looking for same thing https://opereviews.com/trees-forestry/chainsaws/ The new 18v makita topper chain speed alot faster than the 36v version which is odd....
  7. Also how about bar length?
  8. Some EU money gets redistributed to poorer countries & regions of countries for development projects. As UK overall is richer than places like Romania etc less comes back than put in. Click net contribution: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/8036097.stm#start On the other hand it has helped poorer bits of the UK like the North & Wales etc that otherwise wouldn'r of got funding from a UK goverment that tends to favour the SE of the country hence forcasts saying certain parts of the UK will be more ngeatively affected by brexit. EU generally seems more progressive with regards enviromental protection policies than the UK goverment is This has meant the EU grants for enviro stuff.....

  18. Tarmac would be better hate the fake look like when cosmetic surgery goes wrong Reckon its like this but for grass: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uncanny_valley So a crappy fake would be better ?
  19. Looks more realistic than the original astroturf playing field stuff. Alot of holiday rentals have it now ive noticed & also the fake plants in pots on the patio.
  20. Anyone bought/being using the Arbortec Breathedry smock? Whats there own brand material like with regard to breathablity/waterproofness compared to the branded stuff like event or gortex etc?
  21. Ebolas back & seems there struggling abut to contain it. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/0/outbreak-ebola-spreads-congolese-city-12-million-sparking-containment/
  22. This looks good:
  23. Smaller the better as larger surface volume ratio = faster seasoning. Length depends on size of your stove door but i'd split them down fairly narrow. If you haven't got one get a £5 moisture meter from ebay.
  24. Yeah under £280 including postage but in blue in the UK about £425 for same saw. Idealo is good to track prices: https://www.idealo.de/preisvergleich/OffersOfProduct/1903222_-ps-5105-c-dolmar.html Some vague info on the USA colour change dunno if UK will follow suit: https://www.chainsawsdirect.com/stories/1328-What-You-Need-to-Know-About-the-Future-of-Dolmar-Chainsaws.html Also official seems to be called "Warm red" for some, reason not orange ?
  25. Amazon.de has a cheap dolmar PS-5105 C 45 cm atm 300 euro? https://www.amazon.de/dp/B00JUZI5LC?m=A3JWKAKR8XB7XF&tag=idealode-am-pk-21&ascsubtag=kB5JtZRTvWSB1WB7jzvIpw
